In light of the new posts, here is a just for fun map that I made a while back about a Kaiserreich-esque scenario happening in TL-191.

North America before the start of the US Invasion of the (Second) Republic of Dixie
I was inspired by Rvbomally's Yankee Spring map, SuperHornet32 Third Southron War map, and also the current conflict between Russia and Ukraine (Incorporated the elements of their lore). Though I am not supporting the invasion and I deeply condemn it.
The current crisis between the United States and the Republic of Dixie has a very very long history.
After the 2nd Great War, the United States won its war against the Confederate States. Philadelphia decided to annex all of the CSA to fully reunite the country, however, it did not end very well. Decades of insurgency and population transfers have drained and ruined the US economy.
In 1991, the Canadian and the former Confederate State territories have seceded and formed their own governments. The Canadians have formed their own peacefully while in the south, not so much. The First Republic of Dixie was unstable and the US government exploited it, resulting in the secession of Tennessee.
After the Tennessee Crisis, the First Republic of Dixie went to upheaval and reform the country into the Second Republic of Dixie. The Yeager government in the US was not popular due to ruinous economic policies and paved the way for the rise of the former OSS Agent, Walter Peterson.
Peterson promised reforms in the government and to the economy and it was done, giving him a large percentage of population support. He also brought his cronies and placed them in every government position, solidifying his position in the government while trying to maintain the facade of democracy. In 2014, Peterson accuses the government of Dixie of its apparent support of the Neo-Freedomite attacks on New Orleans and Chicago. After that, in the month of March, Peterson Government has invaded the Republic of Dixie and successfully annexed the Island of Cuba. The war proved again the power of the American military and it was condemned globally and destroyed the remaining ties between the US and Dixie. The Republic of Dixie turned to Germany and made its plans to join Euro-Atlantische Vertragsorganisation (EAV).
In 2020, tensions were high again in North America and Europe due to the saber-rattlings of the Peterson government to distract the public from domestic issues. In 2021, there was a massive US military buildup on the border between the US and Dixie, flexing its 2nd largest navy and air force. Finally, on December 25, 2021, Walter Peterson showed up in front of the public and presented a terrifying message.
"My fellow Americans, the people of Dixie have shown no regret for supporting neo-freedomite groups and continue to threaten our borders. It's imperative to liberate the people of Dixie from neo-freedomite ideology and crush it with impunity. We must unite to ensure the peace in the continent."
The month of January saw massive military exercises between the US, the Union of Appalachia, and the Republic of Tennessee.
On February 23, a number of B-60 strategic bombers has taken off to reach their target, the US 1st, and 3rd Fleet is sailing right now toward the shores of Dixie.
There is one thing certain, war is imminent and North America shall see another bloodshed in its lifetime.

Since TL-191 ends in 1944 there probably is several post-war scenarios. So there is not official 2020's map anywhere. It is just what you imaginate that being.

In my mind that includes a Canada thats been integrated into the US as American states save Quebec which is still independent. Still an independent Texas and a rump "CSA " Some of the CSA states have returned to the USA but not all.Utah is majority black.The Mexican Confederate states have gone back to Mexico and Cuba is still deciding if it wants to become independent or be an American state. Haiti and the Dominican Republic are American states,Alaska is still Russian but still lightly populated and some want to possibly purchase it.

I think that on books was stated that CSA was re-annexed totally to USA. Altough in other hand IMO more plauysible would be that there is rump-CSA and potentially Afro-American homelandl, probably formed around South Carolina.
About Cuba, wouldn't it be anglified to point that English is more spoken than Spanish?
I would imaginate that on final peace treaty Russia would be enforced to cede Alaska to USA.

I think African Americans are done with the South.If any kind of "black homeland" it is established its Utah or somewhere else in the US or Canada,
Very likely or its at least a 50/50 thing like in Quebec with English and French.
Possible although Russia would be loathe to give up more territory immediately due to all its losses to Germany.The USA really doesnt have much against Russia compared to the UK and France so maybe they are let off the hook for a while ?
Basically, this is what I envision of a modern TL-191 North America. The former Confederacy is balkanized and re-formed into new and demilitarized states.

Yeah. Inegrating large nation with high population which has been independent country 80+ years would be pretty hard. Annexation would be pretty counter-productive. At least there would be long guerilla war.
