Kaiserreich: Legacy of the Weltkrieg

So, Luis Carlos Prestes in KR uses a red tie on his suit, so this made me wonder something. It is my impression or hearts of iron 4 Devs tends to paint the ties of left wing leaders in red?
That tended to be the case, there were a few portraits that were pretty cheeky (like putting ancap colours on the ties of MarLib leaders), but we've moved away from it. Socialist leader of Iran has a blue tie for instance.

I knew it was not a coincidence! Cool.

I turned Kaiserreich on after a while and decided to play as Argentina until the AUS rebelled to switch to it. Interesting enought Peron is now Autdem while the military junta is pataut. Accurate.

Argentina still remains one of the best countries to play, also.

Ok, I finished a gameplay as Zveno Bulgaria and maaaaaaaaan, that was something

This pataut route is more cursed than most natpop routes. Zveno is not a normal dictatorship like you would expect, instead it is something we could compare to Kim Il Sung North Korea, Stalin soviet union or nazi Germany in therms of political repression.

Basically their "gimmick" is control. Zveno believes in a technocrat government where the entire society can be manipulated for the greatest efficiency possible. The state is totalitarian, the entire economy, political scene and the civil society are under control of the state by all means. They seem to be very "progressive" in a twisted way so the bulgarian culture (and the yugoslavian ones after unification) have it's traditions purged to increase efficiency. Cities are redrawn, provinces are redraw, political positions are abolished and everythign is geared to increase the economical production as much possible.

Overral Zveno seems like like something similar to Technocracy inc but without the pseud-scientific therms.

When I finished a high succesfull pataut serbian campaign I was sure that eventually the junta would dissolve and that the state could collapse a day. Zveno in another hand would probably turn into a Xi Jiping era PRC (with even less cultural freedoms) and cling indefinitively.

Can Zveno Bulgaria remain a monarchy or will they always declare a republic?
You have two wings, a conservative one and the gamer one that is the republican. If you go for the conservative route you can keep the monarchy and your state will resemble a typical far right dictatorship

I looked up Kimon Georgiev and found this from his wikipedia page:

"In the 1930s he became one of the leaders of the right-wing military Zveno ('Link') movement. Together with fellow officers he committed a coup d'état in May 1934 and became prime minister. . .

He abolished all political parties and trade unions. Influenced by the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini, he introduced a corporative economic system (corporatism). . .

During World War II, when Bulgaria was fighting on the side of the Axis, he grew close to the left-wing forces in Bulgaria and in 1943 he joined the anti-Axis Fatherland Front (FF) as one of its leaders. . .

Though Zveno was disbanded in 1949, Georgiev continued holding ministerial posts in each cabinet until 1962. From 1962 until his death in 1969 he was a member of the Presidium of the National Assembly. Georgiev was twice awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labour."

He's definitely got all the different totalitarianisms on the spectrum covered...

as you can see I had only 29% stability, this after using the "send the army" decision twice to increase it

You can basically marching with boots over people personal freedoms and abolishing centuries old traditions, political systems and cultures to try to enforce one single identity
