also, what's up with the absense of these lakes/reservoirs in Iran? They DEFINITELY make the cut size-wise...
They are not permanent, much like the Tunisian Chotts, only have water during a very small amount of time and almost never to their full capacity, being salt plains most of the year.
An update: I am now doing India and Tibet. You can see the map game infobox at the bottom, which can be trimmed off later on.

They also exist in Alsace, too - they're partially in and partially out of the HRE.
I have QGIS shapefile for that. 90 perecent accurate.
Mind also doing the TNO version? The drop isn't that low so Italy and Libyan coast aren't connected, and the Balearics remain separate from the Spanish mainland. S0 around +/- 200 meter drop
