I'm not sure how much of their American Empire they would have had to offer in exchange, but I think more than Cuba. From the timeline where Spain was really desperate to Gibraltar back and was willing to trade
Oh my.Given the low number of pieces this puzzle is meant for younger children. Still that's not really an excuse for the errors.

What's most baffling here is that the Belarus Ukraine border is still visible where BiH is, so BiH didnt get copy-pasted with the rest of Yugoslavia, instead theres just a big hole where we have Ukrainian and Belarusian exclaves surrounded by Croatia2, Montenegro2, and Serbia2
Did somebody mention the year it was made? For example, I recall China was one timezone but maybe this map was made before that.Seen on reddit, timezones depicted in a Japanese book.
Parts of the Philippines are there - Luzon and Mindanao.Did somebody mention the year it was made? For example, I recall China was one timezone but maybe this map was made before that.
Also the Philippines are missing. Strange actually, usually New Zealand is missing instead.

This seems like it was made in the later interwar period, since part of the Manchurian border is visible.Did somebody mention the year it was made? For example, I recall China was one timezone but maybe this map was made before that.

I always knew that one day Kaliningrad would be restored to its rightful name of Koenigsberg!Seen on reddit, timezones depicted in a Japanese book.

Personal favourite: that red square in the Baltic which seems to be an East Prussian timezone ("Oh my, is it already time to wear my Pickelhaube?")
Eastern Europe's all the same, right? It's fine! Nobody'll notice!I.... errrr.... gaaaaah...
How does that even happen?

Is it wrong that I am more concerned about the terrible choices for colouring the countries than I am about the fact that they are using a modern map of Europe for 1919?Depicting the correct borders in Eastern Europe is no easy task.

It would be easier to worry about the anachronistic borders if you could see them.Is it wrong that I am more concerned about the terrible choices for colouring the countries than I am about the fact that they are using a modern map of Europe for 1919?
It reminds me of those 3D image posters from a few (well, many) years back, where if you let your eyes "unfocus" ie look "through" the image rather than at it, something else hidden pops into focus... who knows, they might have actually hidden a good map in there somewhereDepicting the correct borders in Eastern Europe is no easy task.
