I made a map of Gomberg's New World Moral Order a while back, but here's a new HD remake.
He forgot the Ottoman claims in the Libyan hinterland from 1890.
“We demand all of it.” *later* “Oh no, we only got half of it, but hey, I’m glad we compromised.” *snickering*
It does, perhaps the British could give the rest of Katanga to the Portuguese to be a part of Angola.
Maybe ATL British East Congo is later divided between Uganda and an enlarged Federation of Rhodesia and Nyasaland / Central African Federation. No sure how this impacts the civil wars in the Congo and nearby after independence since Katanga and East Congo were notable conflict areas in OTL.
Speaking of Nyasaland / Malawi, somewhat surprised the British did not seek to gain aditional territory at the expense of Mozambique from part of the Zambezia province between the Zambezi and Licungo Rivers, resulting in the territory gaining access to the Mozambique Channel.
IOTL the Brits did I think get a railway concession through the eastern Congo, in order to side-step German Tanganyika for the Cape-to-Cairo route....
For which countries are maps 9, 10, 11, and 15? I think 10 is Spain because of Morocco, but then who has 11?
Am I right in assuming the last map represents the claims of the Ottoman empire?
9 seems to be a smaller version of Spain's colonial empire
11 is Austria-Hungary
15 is Denmark (by the color)
Wild that this is a world with like ten countries and Ireland, Greece, and Israel are some of them.
Good work. I wonder what that USSR-Manchuria boundary line corresponds to since I suspect it is a natural border.
