THE WORLD OF "THE PENISULA ABLAZE!" A DIFFERENT COLD WAR ITALY

- A bit irrelevant but Leon Amery proposal to give territories to Canada is actually taken seriously, with all of the British West Indies going to the Canadian government and the Falklands also.
- Rhodesia also unifies with SAF, likewise Bechuanaland (OTL Botswana)
- Ireland enteres the WAllies side and pressure from USA and debts makes the Brits give up the north in end of 1945
- Also irrelevant, but Hitler and the Germans keep the idea of the Madagaskar Plan until the beginning of 1945, but by the time they attempt to try TTL wouldbe Holocaust it is already too late.
- The plane of Edward Spears with De Gaulle is shot down by a Luftwaffe pilot, France is likely seen even more collaborationist this TL than ours.
- The French Levant is annexed into British Transjordan, French colonies are administred by the Wallies and by 1945 most are already indepedent including Algeria
- The Franco-Thai War goes even worse for the French than OTL, with the Plaek Phibunsongkhram (who will rule Thailand until his demise in 1964) straightforwadly annexing Laos and Cambodia, Vietnam later would become a puppet of the Japanese
- The failure of Operation Long Jump convinces both Stalin and the Wallies that Germany is too dangerous to be left intact.
- Italy manages to get a better deal at the Armistice of Cassibile. DDay happens in Liguria and Southern France.
- Chiang Kai Shek manages to win the Civil War, however Sinkiang, Tibet and Mongolia hold into independence, Manchuria (later Man'chzhuriya) is annexed by the URSS and Russified. Korea is unified under the USA
- Communist win the Greek Civil War
- Beria plan goes on : joint Greco-Soviet invasion of Turkey -> enlargement of the Armenian Soviet Republic, creation of Kurdistan.
- TTL "Korean War" is the "Yugoslav War" between South Yugoslavia (Chetnik pro USA) and North Yugoslavia (pro USSR)
- The Federation of Arab Republics stays on actually, the East African Federation also actually succeeds.
- Nasser dies but Sadat isn't assassinated (survives)
- In 1948, Italian Communist Palmiro Togliatti is killed by his (TTL) never caught assassin, De Gasperi, Saragat, Einaudi are killed in retaliation by Palmiro's followers and sympathizers as much as 90% of the Italian Social Movement leadership except for Almirante.
- In Portugal Salazar dies while Francisco Craveiro Lopes is in office, leaving Francisco to deal with the colonial matter (OTL he disagreed with Salazar's policies )
- Papua and the Sultanate of Zanzibar are independent
- No coup in Burma in the 1960s, still a democracy
- The 1961 South African Referendum is won by the monarchist by a slim margin
- The Congo Crisis results in an independent (sort of) Katanga and the unification of the two Congos
- Collapse of Nigeria after the Biafran War -> division into Arewa, Biafra, Yorubaland
- No 1964 Coup in Brazil (Kennedy isn't a thing TTL)
- South Yemen joins the WARPAC after winning against the North
- The first majority rule election in SA see Sir Seretse Khama win with his South African Democratic Party
- No NATO but instead PACATO (Pacific American Carribean Asian Treaty Organization)
- Indo-Pakistani War sees the involvement of Afghanistan on the Indian side and it also last longer (1971-1975/6) resulting then in an independent Kashmir, Punjab and Sindh, Khalistan
- Ethiopia just dies after the Italian intervention in Somalia
- Gabon and EG are the only wild cards here
- TTL "Vietnam War" is in Central America(hasn't happened yet on the map though!)

That map of the British Empire does look very interesting, make it more interesting by adding Patagonia and South Persia to the Britain map
I'm guessing this is a world where the Russo-Japanese war expands into WWI? Close enough, generally a sort of soft-WW1 from 1898-1901 ish period. It ends up as Britain, Germany, Austria, Japan (plus the Americans and Ottomans in assist) against the French, Russians, Italians (alongside the Spanish, Belgians and Chinese sort of).
