Do the cod wars still happen ITL?

I think the OTL Cod Wars would likely be butterflied and would form part of the negotiation between the Nordic countries and the United Empire in the 1950s that brought the Nordic Cooperation Council into the Commonwealth.

Oooh pretty.
I agree with the honourable member.

At least Britmerica has decent provincial flags, unlike the all too many godawful OTL US state flags.
Ah, I see Leinad tactic, due to him making his plans to escape his cage, he hasn’t had enough time to entertain his magnificent and benevolent maste-um, readers, yes I mean readers.

As such, he has used pretty pictures to distract the more pliable prison warde-um, readers, again sorry I meant readers, see above.

Well I am sorry Leinad, but with this escape attempt and the successful breeching of the cage last week, it seems we have to get the cattle prods out again.

If only you stopped being such a bad boy with these insane thoughts of freedom and salvation, then we wouldn’t be in this situation, alas.

Why thank you :D

I thank the even more honourable member and agree that anything is better then a seal on a bed sheet.

I have a feeling Mexico has cornered the market on those designs ITTL :p

Haha very true! Back to work I go :)

Finally I can start to fill in the hole in the middle of North America!

Speaking of flags, I assume there are fewer fleg related issues in Ulster ITTL. :p

Oh definitely :)

With Colorado and Wyoming, they both have very nice OTL flags. But I sort of feel that it is cheating to use them without modification.

For Colorado, some thoughts:

I'm quite partial to design #3, but it is maybe too cluterred, while I think #2 has a certain stylistic simplicity to it.

For Wyoming:

I don't like the ensign, and the different colours were me trying to incorporate the OTL state colours. I feel top left is too complicated. So it's between the two re-proportioned buffalo flags, just deciding on colours...

If you remove the "C" and the white stripe, #3 would look like a decent Australian state flag.

Maybe just have #2, without the "C" and centre the coat of arms?

I like the blue, red and white with Buffalo.

#3 for Montana and the middle one for Wyoming

That is true. Hadn't noticed that... Now I really want to do the logical Colorado-in-Australia :p

I don't know... that just feels too bland...

I like the blue, red and white with Buffalo.

They are the ones I'm leaning towards.

Ok. What about premier lists? How much work are those?

Similar length of time TBH... I have to research the provinces/states, settle on a system of political parties and elections, then map that onto politicians and follow imperial/national/local trends...

I would never want to post something that is inadequate, inaccurate, incomplete or not the best it could possibly be.

BTW, love the flag stuff.

Thanks :) You know you can like a post if you enjoy it...

Colorado 1#
Wyoming 2#/Middle Flag but put the white section at the bottom or change it to vertical and have the flag half and half with the Union Jack on the red side and the Buffalo in the blue square on the white side.
