Very interesting. One question: Why did the matter become public? The wikibox says that the royal family discovered it. Wouldn't they want to keep the affair ssecret in order not to damage the family and the monarchy?

my guess would be he was unpopular within the family and the one to be his successor was more popular

The Wheeled Combat Vehicle (WCV) is a family of eight-wheeled armoured fighting vehicles derived from the Provencal Dauphin V 6×6. Vehicles are produced by Rolls-Royce Arsenal Systems under license from Motobloc S.A., at plants located in Belfast, Ireland; Charleston, Two Carolinas; and Khulna, Bengal. It has 4-wheel drive (8×4) and can be switched to all-wheel drive (8×8).

The Wheeled Combat Vehicle family originated from two separate requests for proposals from two separate armed forces of the British Empire. First, in October 2003, Field Marshal The Viscount Sewell, then the Chief of the Imperial General Staff, outlined his plans for the transformative future of the British Army in light of high-tempo and often contradictory mission parameters. Since the 1980s, the British Empire had operated with a high-low mix of armoured and light foot formations as part of the Future Army Reforms. The armoured formations would be forward deployed abroad as deterrence against Austrian aggression, with light foot formations to be available for rapid deployment overseas. The Future Army Reforms had run into problems with low-intensity conflicts in Afghanistan and the North-West Frontier because the heavy armoured formations were not easy to deploy while light foot formations were vulnerable to ambushes and improvised explosive devices. Sewell's Force 20XX programme would create a medium infantry unit that would fill the gap between heavier and heavily armed vehicles that were not easy to deploy, and easily deployable vehicles that were lightly armed and protected.

At the same time, the Irish Army was engaged in Operation Boudica against the Irish Black Army following the Black Friday bombing in September 2004. The Irish Army was largely composed of light foot units equipped with lightly-armoured lorries that were vulnerable to attack. The Cavalry Corps looked into acquiring heavy armour the spring of 2005, but expense and mission parameters would not allow for it. At the request of The Duke of York, the Lord Justiciar of Ireland, the Irish Army issued a request for proposals for a mobile and protected armoured fighting vehicle for low-intensity combat operations. Ireland's only native automotive company, supercar maker Dunmurry Motor Company, created a defence contracting subsidiary and purchased the license for the Motobloc Dauphin. In January 2006, Dunmurry Arsenal was awarded a £850 million contract to procure up to 600 vehicles of a variant of the Provencal Dauphin V to equip two infantry regiments. The CV1 Cerberus entered limited service with the Irish Army later in 2006, and Dunmurry submitted the design to the Imperial Ministry of Defence to equip the Force 20XX mounted foot regiments. Rolls-Royce Arsenal Systems joined the bid.

In November 2007, the Dunmurry/Rolls-Royce design was selected to procure the new Wheeled Combat Vehicle, with an initial contract of £9.3 billion to procure more than 3,000 vehicles to equip eight mounted foot regiments. General Defence Works protested the contract award in January 2008, claiming their design proposal cost only two-thirds that of Rolls-Royce. The National Audit Office rejected the protest in June 2008. The first vehicles entered service with the British Army in the autumn of 2009. Rolls-Royce acquired Dunmurry Motor Company in May 2010, becoming the primary contractor for the design.

The WCV family is primarily used by the British Army, though some variants are also in service with the Royal Air Force and the Royal Marines. The Royal Marines also use another licensed-built version of the Motobloc Dauphin, the FV277 Katana Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle, which is derived from the Jingei IFV of the Imperial Japanese Army. The Centre of Industrial Technical Excellence operates the Los Alamitos Army Depot in California and the Nashik Army Depot in Maharashtra for the maintenance and repair of the Wheeled Combat Vehicle.

Greater Virginia Preview - Senator Harry Byrd
Greater Virginia - The Civil War
Greater Virginia - Reconstruction

Greater Virginia - The Gilded Age
After much protest and threats of renewed hostilities, Rutherford Hayes was confirmed as having won the 1876 election 185-182. His administration would begin to scale back on Reconstruction policies of his predecessor, which quickly resulted in the entrenchment of Jim Crow policies and the re-establishment of Democratic control over the South. In Virginia, the Conservative Party movement that had so successfully swept out Republicans would fracture from within. Governor Holliday, elected Governor over prominent Conservative William Mahone, would veto school funding bills passed by the legislature and lead to a walkout of many prominent members to form the Readjuster Party that acted as a biracial coalition within the state to break the re-entrenched power of Virginia elites. Readjusters would immediately sweep into power with the support of Senator Jacob’s wing of the western Virginian Democratic machine. The high-water mark for Readjusters would be after the election of 1880 where James Garfield would be elected President and William Mahone would be elected Senator to replace Senator Jacob’s. Republicans held exactly half the Senate, but needed Mahone’s vote to ensure a quorum and reclaim power from the Democrats who previously held the Senate. Mahone was given carte blanche control of patronage in Virginia by the Garfield and Arthur administrations which helped elected a Readjuster Governor and hold the Legislature, which in turn would send fellow Readjuster Harrison Riddleberger to the Senate. As with Republican control a decade prior, this would not last, as race riots just before the 1883 elections would lead to a backlash against the Readjusters and the eventual election of Conservative Democrat Fitzburgh Lee. This would be the beginning of the Conservative Democrat control over the state, though Republicans were known to be elected to Congress in wave years, that would hold power with little in the way of opposition until the Great Depression.

This era would also see a decline in the power of western Virginia as its influence was swamped by the rest of the state. Lt. Governor would, into the Progressive era, would be considered a “western Virginia office” to keep that wing of the state’s Party in line, but it wouldn’t be until John Cornwell’s political machine in the 1910’s that western Virginia would take the spotlight in the state’s politics. Unless you count Senator Davis’ doomed run for Vice President in 1904 where the state barely remained loyal to the Democratic ticket.

Nicolas Flamel is a French alchemist best known for being the first man to successfully create the Philosopher's Stone and becoming the oldest verified man in history. Born in 1329 or 1330 (Flamel himself does not fully recall), Flamel was a highly skilled and respected alchemist in his time, but was initially believed to have died in the 1400's. Flamel in fact, however, faked his death along with his wife Perenelle after creating the Philosopher's Stone, seeking to avoid people attempting to kill him for the stone's secrets. Flamel spent the bulk of the next five centuries attempting to replicate the Philosopher's Stone, in the hopes of making the resultant elixer of life available to all humanity. Flamel came close to successfully developing additional stones in 1848, but the French Revolution of 1848 proved disruptive enough this effort failed. The Flamels made additional progress by 1941, but the Second World War this time interrupted their efforts. However, Flamel would return to this work undeterred postwar and in 2000 revealed himself and his creation to the world. The spread of the elixir of life across the globe has been sought by both the Flamels and certain philanthropic individuals and groups, but has faced at times violent resistance from religious groups who denounce immortality on Earth and environmentalists who fear the threat of overpopulation. Nevertheless, Flamel's creation has permeated through a large chunk of society as of 2020.

Flamel's status as the world's oldest man is a somewhat controversial assertion. Many Jews, Christians and Muslims claim that the Biblical figure Methuselah in fact lived nearly 200 years longer than Flamel and a man claiming to be the Wandering Jew made himself known in recent years claiming to have lived nearly 2000 years, but this report has not been confirmed. Taoists have made similar claims about the Eight Immortals exceeding Flamel's lifespan by some centuries. The life cycles of the Buddha in certain Buddhist sects are held to have exceeded Flamel by centuries or even millenia. However, as of the present, Flamel holds the distinction of the oldest verified man in history while Perenelle holds the title of oldest verified woman in history.

I like the way you organized the page as three separate images and included the table of contents. Smart.
From time to time I stop to think how weird it sounds if you describe this page outloud.

"We like to create fake wikipedia pages and make them look as realistic as possible and get them organized in a manner that seems like the real deal. That's fun."

It's almost like some sort of weird artistic challenge or puzzle. Figuring out how to make these forgeries and getting them to look like a real page using creativity.

Curly Howard, was an American vaudevillian comedian and actor. He was best known as a member of the American farce comedy team the Three Stooges, which also featured his elder brothers Moe and Shemp Howard and actor Larry Fine. Curly Howard was generally considered the most popular and recognizable of the Stooges, Howard was forced to leave the Three Stooges act in May 1946 when a massive stroke but luckily recovered and returned to the Stooges in mid 1953 and stayed on till the end. Out of all four of the Stooges Curly lived the longest with his brother Moe passing in 1975 alongside middleman Larry Fine, and other brother Shemp who passed in 1974.

(Don't know about the picture on the wikibox, might change it.)

I have a question:
WHAT
Whatever confuses you about this, (from why did LBJ defect? to why america was involved in the Russian succession war etc.) just let me know and I'll get back to you with answers on this or I'll slowly work on a slew of wikiboxes that explain events from TTL.

Looks interesting. However, didn't the Napoleonic code legalise homosexuality?

Maybe it's more of a social thing, like how it's legal in a lot of Eastern European countries, but still heavily frowned upon by the general public. Also, it might be that it's legal, but seen as taboo for a monarch, which is pretty common for a lot of things.

Very often, how Gay rights are viewed by a government, and how they are viewed by its people are very different.

Note: for the 18th century conflict waged by the early United States against Great Britain, see American War of Independence

The American Revolutionary War (15 December 1919 - 8 October 1924) was a civil war waged primarily within the territory of the old continental United States between the communist Red Army (also called 'Spartacists', and by their enemies 'reds' and 'wobblies) and the National Army (also called 'loyalists', and by their enemies 'whites' and 'blacklegs') loyal to the rump United States government.

The origins of the war lay in long-simmering class, regional, and racial tensions stemming from the increasing immiseration of large sections of the United States, especially among working class, non-white, and immigrant populations. In the later years of the 19th century, industry and manufacturing became ever-more concentrated in a small number of great cartels, organized through the National Association of Manufacturers. The result was a vast gap between wealthy and poor and building labor unrest which spiked with the Rising of '94, tensions worsened in 1904, when Henry Clay Frick ascended to the presidency on an anti-union, anti-socialist platform, after a heavily contested election in which he and the socialist candidate, Clarence Darrow came within a few thousand votes of one another. The election was thrown to the House of Representatives, which elected Frick. He governed in increasingly autocratic style, packing congress with members of his Law and Justice Party, suppressing strikes and protests with the use of federal troops, and and ultimately suspending national elections of from 1910 through 1918. In 1910 he brought the country into the Great War with the American invasion of Mexico.

By 1918, the country had entered a severe recession, and the war was deeply unpopular. The collapse of the Russian front inspired mass protest in many belligerent nations, and in the United States 'peace and free elections' became the watchword of demonstrators and dissidents. Hoping to defuse tensions, Frick agreed to hold provisional congressional elections in the fall of 1919. The government had expected to emerge with at least a plurality, but the vote returned almost 70% for oppositional parties. When the Frick government attempted to prevent the seating of the 62nd congress, a number of strikes and armed revolts broke out across the nation, and were typically suppressed by federal troops. This is generally marked as the start of the war.

The disorganized insurgency against Frick's increasingly dictatorial regime soon coalesced behind the long-illegal but increasingly popular Industrial Workers of the World under long-time revolutionary William Haywood and the associated American Workingman's Social Democratic Party, whose prestige was greatly enhanced by association with the recent Russian Revolution and Vladimir Lenin's Bolsheviks. The rebels rapidly seized large swathes of the country, largely concentrated in the northern industrial belt, the midwest, and large urban centers.

The revolutionaries proclaimed an American Federative Soviet Republic in early 1920, and soon affiliated with Soviet Russia to form the International Federation of Soviet Republics. Meanwhile, the Frick regime formed a 'Government of National Union' which sought to concentrate all anti-communist parties and associations under the president's leadership.

Besides the two primary combatants, a number of secessionist and nationalist used the opportunities presented by the chaos of the war to assert independence from any central government.

The course of the war initially favored the National forces, which were professionally and materially far superior to that of the Reds. However, as Europe was engulfed in its own wave of revolutions and Franco-British support to Frick began to dry up, the tide turned in favor of the IFSR. Over the course of five years, the IFSR, which by now controlled all the major industrial centers of the country, and also large areas of the agriculturally critical midwest, strangled the Nationals in a war of attrition. In 1923, the Red Army captured New Orleans, cutting off the primary artery through which the Allies funneled arms and other matériel to Frick. The war is generally considered to have ended in October of 1924, when National general Douglas MacArthur surrendered to Ernest Hemingway at Pittsburgh. Many supporters of the Nationals fled the country, while those who stayed found themselves imprisoned or executed by the victorious Reds. However, guerrilla actions and sabotage continued for nearly a decade afterwards, primarily staged from Canada and Mexico.

The war is notable for the extreme brutality and terror employed by both sides, which left anywhere from an estimated 300,000 to 1,000,000 dead. The National government's white terror was primarily directed against known communists, organized labor, blacks, and recent immigrants suspected of radical sympathies. The red terror targeted property owners, pre-war policemen and military officers, government officials, and sometimes rival left-wing groups.

The American Revolutionary War and the concurrent Russian conflict, along with the European revolutions unfolding at the same time, are sometimes considered various theaters of a single 'International Civil War'. This interpretation is especially common in official soviet historiography. Indeed, the forces fighting in America and in Russia were technically under the unified command of the IFSR, and de jure part of the same Red Army. Global conditions prevented any but the broadest coordination between the leaders of the RSFSR and AFSR, but the precedent set for cooperation between the IFSR's various republics would be built upon in the inter-war years.

The end of the conflict found the IFSR a pariah state, thanks to its sponsorship of revolutionary movements in Europe, and its openly declared aim to 'overthrow world capitalism and liberate all colonial and semi-colonial peoples of the earth'. The next two decades would see a low-intensity Cold War between the IFSR and a growing coalition of European states headed by the United Kingdom (later also by France and Nazi Germany) which consisted primarily of proxy conflicts in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, and finally culminated in the eruption of the Second Great War in 1942.

God, I obviously used the Russian Civil War box as a template, and am just realizing I forgot to delete 'Black Army' in the right-hand column :noexpression:

Ignore that
