Map Thread XIX

Hoping on the bandwagon, I now get to post my 3rd edition map for the telephone game. This has been sitting in on my computer for quite and while and I am happy I get to show it now! (Note not a French speaker so very likely many mistakes)

BTW my next idea is a world cup map or far more seriously an in-universe description of the relations between the Britannic Union and the United Kingdom-in-exile. Another idea is "what if this timelines World Wars (WW1 was different to ours despite me starting this timeline from a basemap of OTL 1914) ended differently. Not sure when exactly to set these maps however (also depending on when I decide to change from the original WW2 the end result could be way different. Most especially because Britannic Union entered the war late so there is at least three different things that can happen to them). I suppose about 20 years after the end of the war is a good time period to show however (with comparison to how that year looked in the original timeline). Depends on how much time I spend on my computer but one of these will probably happen by the weekend at the latest.

Maybe it's a compromise to keep locals happy, tension down with neighboring French ally/puppet?

I know who I'm voting for in the next Turtledoves. The RCA can be seen as a relatively well-worn trope, but seeing it in such cartographic detail and thoughtful name choices, etc., really makes it come alive. And I always prefer creative AH maps, rather than the n-millionth map of some totalitarian-industrial-militarist dystopia TL.

Why is New Jersey independent? I can see Kentucky, as a border state existing, but ITTL New Jersey is surrounded on all sides.

Simple. It's a puppet of the United States rump.

Speaking of that A-Z map series, I feel a bit bad for the Z world, since China would probably puppet the rest (if there is anyone else on the z world), also, for taiwan, will it be based on the RoC or taiwan for it's name?
