- Hamilton wins his duel with Burr (the POD), and is elected President in 1808.
This is very unlikely. Alexander Hamilton lost any chance of becoming president once word of the Reynolds Affair got out. Either get rid of the affair or keep it a secret (the former should be easier than the latter). Hamilton's death IOTL was untimely, but his time to become president had passed by then.

Good point. Though the only question is how to butterfly said affair altogether.

Well, here's another one of these.

Couple explanatory bits: Palestinian national identity (beyond their identity as south Syrian Arabs) is a product of their conflict with the Israelis, so I went with late PODs. Similarly for Nigeria, which didn't exist as a unified entity before British colonialism (so I felt free to bulk it up a bit, Males Rising style.) I admit I cheated a bit on Panama, but honestly there's only so much you can do with a small and jungly part of the Spanish Empire fated by location to be best known as the site of a canal. (Idea of the capital of the Spanish Empire being there taken from Xanthoc.)

I'm a simple man.

I see a B_Munro map, I click like.

Do you know where the monarchies are? Besides the Ottomans, of course.

Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Italy, Russia, Vatican, Andorra, Morocco, Turkey/Ottomans, Levant-Hejaz (Ottoman Dominion), United Arabia (Ottoman Dominion with subnational monarchs), UK, Canada, South Africa, Malaysia (British Dominion with subnational monarchs), Papua (British Dominion), Micronesia (BD), Pacifica (BD), Polynesia (BD), Japan, Thailand, Nepal, Bhutan, Brunei and Aceh I am certain of. Algeria might also be an Ottoman Dominion but probably not. I am not certain about Iran, Egypt and Afghanistan (but Iran most likely is while Egypt isn't). I am uncertain of Balkans (Bosnia and Slovakia are republics, Czechia and the rest I am uncertain of). Kamerun and Togo might be German dominions. Portugal is probably a monarchy and Spain probably isn't. Unsure about Cambodia but probably not. Lithuania-Latvia (Baltica) might be a monarchy too.

I must say thank you for asking this. It allowed me to think it over. I will update later, answering uncertainties after I check over the history again tomorrow.

Edit: final decisions: Algeria is an Ottoman Dominion, Czechia and Baltica are monarchies with Romanov cadet branches. Iran and Afghanistan are monarchies while Egypt is a republic. Kamerun and Togo are republics, Portugal is a monarchy while Spain is a republic. Cambodia is a republic. In the Balkans, Greece is a monarchy while others (Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Croatia) are republics.

Yep, I'm back... kinda. This map has been in the works for a long time, but I left it for a couple months as I was busy with many things and devoted most of my free time into the HOI4 mod (any day now). Still is the same, same story all the time, so this isn't really a sign of a big reboot of the timeline (yet), but decided I should finish this one off. Hope you enjoy!

Same timeline map of nuclear powers. International Concord is basically the UN/LoN. UBSC is the Union of Britannic Syndicalist Commonwealths (Soviet Union, basically). USSA is United Socialist States of America while SFA is the Socialist Federation of America (USSA's even less democratic successor). Nigeria and Kenya got (well, kept) UBSC nukes (while most other former BSCs handed them to UK in exchange for protection ). *Pakistan (I am not sure about using that name but haven't found a better one. Thought about Hindustan but I think that would be too close to India in some languages) might have captured/found some Indian nukes during their civil war/war of independence. France and Brazil were the *Axis in WW2 (so was Spain, Romania and Yugoslavia) while USA was counted as part of the *Axis due to being at war with the UBSC while the latter joined the war against the *Axis. And also because US lost (Japan was also helping UBSC during that war against the US). The Empire in exile would be brown while UBSC would be light blue but because UBSC dissolved and UK got restored, also inheriting most of its assets (well perhaps more accurately from the British Provisional Government, who inherited the majority of the UBSC assets) and because UK-in-exile, Canada, South Africa, Loyalist New Zealand and Loyalist Australia (as opposed to Socialist New Zealand and Australia) shared a nuclear arsenal. Currently UK, Canada, South Africa, (republican) Australia, (republican) New Zealand and Malaysia also share this nuclear arsenal. (Australia and New Zealand are republics after the reunification of loyalist dominions and socialist regimes as a compromise.)
More, please!

Now another work in progress, my list of alternate tourist railroads.

The one that runs south from Downtown Atlanta....I can't see that one always being used as a tourist line, but also a commuter line, and Atlanta may well object to the air pollution a steam locomotive invariably makes.

Could have been worse for France: it could have been both emasculated and constantly threatened by SS-controlled Burgundy as in TNO.

I think you may have saved the second map as a jpeg as it is quite blurry, but the actual scenarios are as inventive and fascinating as usual!
