Fascist US in WW2

Supposing that the US becomes fascist during the Great Depression, and decides to side with the Rome-Berlin Axis (implicitly alienating Tokyo over the Pacific), what would the battle plan be? The US would have a network of tributaries in Central America and the Caribbean to draw tribute from, and it would aim to in theory, replace Britain as #1.

This would involve defeating Canada in a “parallel invasion” with the German invasion of France (likely delayed) in order to force Britain to the negotiating table in exchange for confirmation of rights over Canada for the US, and to hand over the Congo and certain British colonies for Germany.

In the Pacific, the US would take advantage of this and Fall Gelb to push from the Philippines into Indonesia in order to a) access more resources b) cut off Australia and force it into surrendering. What the US would do with occupied Indonesia is unclear, due to the absence of a desire even among the most fanatical American fascists to acquire a greater overseas empire and the lack of Pan Asianism that would justify independence.

Not all fascists are the same - what sort of regime does this ATL US have in place? Is it more like Mussolini, Hitler , Franco, or something else entirely?

Something confident enough in its superiority not to genocide it’s minorities, but wishes to replace Britain as the “empire on which the sun never sets”

Then it'd just be WP-Red Hawks...
There is always the possibility of going beyond just the New Workd.

Liberia: Annex it and all surrounding colonies before Vichy/the Germans get to it

the Philippines: use it to invade and annex Vietnam,Indonesia

The Indian Ocean: capturingsomething there would be seen as being able to beat Britain, and extendUSN power around the globe

Not necessarily implausible but the US was generally pretty uncomfortable of getting overly involved in Liberia. However, there was a proposed Greater Liberia bill in 1939 that an alliance between Theodore Bilbo and the Black nationalist Pacific Movement of Ethiopia wanted that would involve the assumption of an American protectorate over Liberia and the expansion of Liberia's frontiers with the acquisition of British/French West African colonies for the purpose of resettling Black Americans there.

How does America turn fascist? Is there a Civil War, a military coup, or gradual appropriation of powers by an initially democratic group/party/individual?

Also, wasn't a lot of the American far right quite isolationist? How will they gain support for an expansionist foreign policy?
