Flag of La Montevideo (NationStates Region: The Great Expirement)
2 suggestions:
- use a single shade of blue
- either move the sun toward the hoist or make the triangle smaller so it doesn't overlap with a ray of the sun.
Flag of La Montevideo (NationStates Region: The Great Expirement)
I actually kinda dig the idea of the 50 stars being replaced by a striking number 50. It feels very alien and disconcerting. I can imagine this as one of those signs of "oops, I'm not really back home..." moments of time travel novels.
Wait, there are 15 stripes now..."too late did he realise his time travelling had changed things in the present...... "

Wait, there are 15 stripes now...
Don't count individually, you'll go crazy. Instead, count the number of rows and columns:I spent way too long counting the stars.
If anyone wants to know, the basic formula for this rectangle within a rectangle arrangement is 2xy -x -y +1 where x is the number of rows and y the columns.Don't count individually, you'll go crazy. Instead, count the number of rows and columns:
(5 rows × 6 columns) + (4 rows × 5 columns) = 30 stars + 20 stars = 50 stars
I only noticed the stripes because the canton with the stars look a lot bigger than usual.
Wait, there are 15 stripes now...
well spotted.
I expected the first reply to be someone stating "but it *has* 50 stars !"
So would BrittanyGalicia probably wants in.
We need a flag shitpost thread.
My kind of althistory novel would have your flag, and the main character not notice the 15 stripes until he sees that the State of the Union Adress is going to be given by President Ossama Bin Laden, famous reality TV host and real estate developer turned populist politician.
Roman numerals would also work pretty well.I actually kinda dig the idea of the 50 stars being replaced by a striking number 50. It feels very alien and disconcerting. I can imagine this as one of those signs of "oops, I'm not really back home..." moments of time travel novels.
It'll just be a big 'L' thou. Not sure if it'll sit well.Roman numerals would also work pretty well.
True, but it'd look a little bit better than just "50"It'll just be a big 'L' thou. Not sure if it'll sit well.
