Maybe Magyars are not beaten by German forces. Or Magyars become Muslim or Jewish instead if they pull a Chazar.

I don't think it can be delayed very long. Bulgaria, Serbia, and Czech lands had recently converted. Poland and Kiev were headed that way too.
Greek monks were already circulating among the Magyar. Their neighbors were converted or converting.
Not likely. Their neighbors are Christian or Christianizing. There is little contact with Islam and even less advantage converting to Islam. Likewise, choosing Judaism to avoid choosing sides between Christianity and Islam makes like sense when surrounded by Christians with minimal contract with Muslims.
By the time St Stephen I converted Poland, Bohemia, the Southern Slavs, and even the Rus' were all Christianized.
Perhaps an earlier Muslim presence in the Balkans might get the job done. We have had posts in the past about the caliphate going north and taking Constantinople (a hard task but the board seems to be in agreeance that It could be done although possibly with a bloody nose)
