China in 1941

The Green Dragon coup occurs. Realizing that Russia and Japan mean to invade China, and that the infighting of the civil war has lain waste to the country, soldiers and farmers rise up in both Communist and Nationalist controlled areas, hoping to unite China against the invaders. They make massive gains early on, and the Democratic Republic of China is proclaimed on September 3rd, 1940. As the majority of the KMT forces are in the north, the capital of the Nationalist government is moved to Beijing, while the DRC takes Nanjing. This is called "the great reversal". The United States withdraws its support for the KMT, and annexes Hainan. Puyi, and the last of his shattered imperial government, have retreated to Manchuria, and are basically little more than a Japanese puppet state. The Mongolians, Tibetans, Koreans, and the DRC form the East Asian Defense Pact, to protect from Russian and Japanese imperialism. As tensions rise in the far east, events in Europe will soon lead to the beginning of the largest war in history...will there ever be peace?

P.S it is called the Green Dragon coup because the first regiment to rebel had a Green Dragon as their banner

Hello friends,
I love DAWHU. But, I am leaving it for the moment.
This is because the timeline feels like a huge weight on my shoulders and mind. I cannot do anything without thinking about it. Honestly, it stressed me out. I feel like this is the only thing I can do on AH.com, and I cannot do anything else without thinking about this.
You all can continue working on this TL. I will allow you to build more on the parts of the world I made. I am currently hoping to work on my other TLs and spend more time relaxing. I will still monitor the timeline!
Please don’t get into fights or anything.
Yours,
Hindustani Person

The Communists in the south have negotiated with the DRC. The Qing, under Zhang Xueliang, have begun to advance south and are finally getting somewhere.
Manipur has uprisen against its Naga overlords; in Nagaland itself unrest is felt as Angami Zapu Phizo’s socialists begin to plot against the King.
The Ma clique has declared itself independent from the Republic, a ‘lost cause’ in their eyes, while on the other hand Yan Xishan has joined forces with them. They still are, however, restricted to the Mountains.

I'd like to know more. What kind of anarchism is Hindu Anarchism? Why did Ghandi embrace anarchism ITTL, instead of Socialism or Social Democracy? Does Hindu Anarchism have sway in the Hindu states outside of India?
Gandhi was IRL as well somewhat of an anarchist, he was a big fan of Tolstoy and lived on a commune in South Africa. When he came back as well he started a place that was practically a commune.
Think AnPrim (although those aspects have since been abandoned) and anarcho-pacifism along with Tolstoyism
Yes, I did mention that it is somewhat popular in Kerala, but it is also popular in Mysore and Madras

We could use "Ein Platz an der Sonne" for the canon thread, would that be a good idea?
Splendid. Also, if I may ask, is the NSB pro or anti- gay rights? I assume they’re pro-gay and possibly against trans and non-binary rights, but I’d leave you to answer.

The German party NSB (Naturschutzbund)? They are very socially conservative. They have by now learnt to live with and accept homosexuality and Germany's civil unions, but in a NSB dictatorship, homosexuality would be only decriminalised.

What is the representation of Poles like in non-minority parties?
How popular is Ireneusz Strzelecki among German Poles?
Do you think Germany would retain the traditional federal system with princes and the like?
Also how do you like the idea of Göring being an aviator and Himmler being the founder of a large multinational food company?

What is the representation of Poles like in non-minority parties? What do you mean here? The Polenpartei mainly caters to a specific group within the Polish minority, thus I would assume that Poles are also represented beyond the Polenpartei. I think the main parties "losing out" due to Polenpartei are Zentrum and SPD. Maybe even the NLP.
How popular is Ireneusz Strzelecki among German Poles? He was very popular until he, with the Green-Black-Green coalition, brought the phase-out of German coal power plants through the Reichstag. An overly green stance alienated Poles and Sorbs - and incited many beyond Polish areas in Germany to vote SPD, VDP, NLP or even NKP. This is the main reason for Uemura coming to power, on quite an "anti-green" agenda.
Do you think Germany would retain the traditional federal system with princes and the like? Until now I thought so, though unitarism would probably be more fitting as Germany went Laicist in 1935/6. Princes, Dukes, Counts etc. would still have a lot of influence locally and regionally, though probably no formalised power.
Also how do you like the idea of Göring being an aviator and Himmler being the founder of a large multinational food company? I like the idea on Göring, and Himmler could be the founder of something like KFC indeed. Maybe together with Walther Funk or somebody?
If the company is based in the Harz Mountains (or the Hegau of Baden-Württemberg, or the Hohenlohe) though, we could call it HHH.
