So, you have an Austria that runs all along the Danube in Germany, a Franco-British Union that runs along the Rhine and a Denmark that has Schleswig Holstein.

You end up with a dead Austrian Chancellor Aldo Moro-style at the hands of German extremists.

The 1965 Labour Leadership contest

After the party's narrow defeat in 1964 after thirteen years in government, a new leader within the near future seemed inevitable as the respected Clement Attlee was set to retire. Sure enough, a contest was held in the summer of 1965.

Harold Wilson was the most experienced of the candidates, having been an MP since 1945, a frontbencher since the party had returned to government in 1951 and serving as Chancellor between 1961 and 1964. He was of the party's moderate left and ideologically close to Attlee. Despite his experience, he was still yet to reach the age of fifty.

Roy Jenkins had been an MP since 1955 and, unlike Wilson, had yet to hold a Great Office of State. His instincts were known to be socially liberal and he was also something of a 'moderniser' on economics, being partial to moving away from the party's long-standing commitment to further state ownership.

Michael Foot, a self-described 'libertarian socialist', was of the more radical left-wing of the party. He had been an MP since 1950 but yet to hold a front bench position. He had little hope of winning but aimed to 'put down a marker' by standing, and perhaps winning over some of Wilson's more reluctant supporters on the left.

Wilson began the race as the frontrunner, but suffered from complacency. Jenkins, although deemed to be something of an egotist, began to be seen as a fresher face and won significant plaudits from the media for his ideas. By the time of the ballot, much of the parliamentary party's right-wing, initially favourable to the left-wing Wilson, had switched to Jenkins, giving him an overall majority of the vote. Foot scored a fairly unremarkable 28 votes, but had the effect of making Jenkins' majority over Wilson larger than it otherwise would have been.

Please, I need more information about these nations and about the extremist group(s) of this timeline!

You already saw my latest wikibox about the German election in 1988 how Germany feels bad.
Anyway, as you can see, Germany is ruined. Haven't figured out that much about the nations and German-nationalist terrorist groups abroad. But I'm considering making a graphic "timeline", but since I already have to text-timelines, maybe not. But maybe when I update those.
