Well, why not? Let my first map in this thread be something unoriginal and about the ATLA series.

For normal scenario I don't have much time, but TL;DR it's just Avatar world in the begining of the last year of the Hundred Year War but with reversed elements and fractions.

Earlier today, I was thinking about what would happen if my parents had swapped places (my mother is American and my father is British) and I had grown up in Britain instead of America, and for some reason, I immediately came to the conclusion that I had to make a parallelism scenario based off of it where the two swap. It's called "&" for the Tally Hall reference, because the only alternate name I could think of was "The Ameroskeptics" and that sounded kind of bland.

Thank you! Since I saw a lot of socialists praising Venezuela as an example of "socialism done right" up until everything there went wrong, I figured it'd be the best way of communicating that Belarus is meant to be analogous to it. Albania is still called an example of "proper communism," though, and yes, it was governed by the Hoxhas.

Thanks for answering this question!

What are the differences between East and West Germany ITTL, after being "united" in the EU for 30 years now? What are the implications of them being two eparate states? What is the status of Berlin - it appears to be a separate state, too?

Officially, there is the People's Republic of the Congo and the Republic of the Congo. Often, they are shortened to Kongo and Congo respectively.
Buganda refers to the nearest one as Congo then? I would say Kongo would be better as it might be closer to the original name, but as Kongo was in Angola it doesn't make much difference. As for your thing on the People's Republic of Congo... it does remind me of how weird the naming conventions of them were. People make sun of the Democratical Republic of Congo, but the name was no more of a lie than the Congo Free State. I am guessing if Congo had never renamed themselves and stayed as Republic of Congo, the formerly French one would eventually Ben known as Congo-Brazzaville, much like how former Portuguese Guinea is known by its capital.

This map is ridiculous. Water is occupying over ninety perfect of the map. Ahhh, wait. I am guessing they decided they didn't want more land? I suppose it would go against their whole naming convention.

The Comintern (USSR, Soviet satellites, Germany, Turkey, and China) and Anti-Comintern Pact (Japan, Italy, Austria-Hungary, and other states) in April of 1936. Two weeks later, the Soviets invaded Bukovinia and Bessarabia, causing France and Britain to join the Anti-Comintern. This caused WWII to begin. The USSR is led by a biumvirate of Lev Kamenev and Grigory Zinoviev.

Why is China still its Republican color as opposed to the tone of the PRC?

East Germany didn't join the EU until about a year after the collapse of the Soviet Union, and the division of the two just ended up sticking partially due to political and cultural (though less so for the latter) differences and partially because the country as a whole had more important things to focus on in the period after the ex-Warsaw Pact states joined. East Germany is actually more conservative than West Germany these days as a backlash against the former communist regime- I'd envisioned the ex-Warsaw Pact members of the EU to be generally analogous to the South and the flyover states- while West Germany would be more like California. West Berlin is still part of West Germany- like the division of the Germanies, it just ended up staying that way.
