The Czechoslovak Republican Party (Czecho-Slovak: Československá republikánská strana; Hungarian: Republikánus párt; Rusyn: Чехословацька pепубліканська партія, romanized: Čehoslovacʹka republikans'ka partija; Yiddish: רעפובליקאנער פארטיי, romanized: Refublikner fartej; ČRS) is a conservative-liberal, agrarian political party in Czechoslovakia. The party was established in 1922 shortly after Czechoslovakia's independence from the merger of the Czech Agrarian Party and the Slovak National Republican and Peasant Party. Founded as an agrarian party advocating land reform and protectionism, the party has moved ideologically towards economically-liberal positions, like a defence of free-market economics, and become the main party of the Czechoslovak centre-right. The party maintains close ties with its German-speaking sister party, the Agrarian League (Bund der Landwirte).
Although coming second behind the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Workers' Party in the elections of 1920, the split between the party's left, who went on to found the Communist Party in 1922, and the rest of the party allowed the Republican Party to become the largest single political force in the 1920s and 1930s, forming part of every government between 1920 and 1943 and successively presiding the Council of Ministers between 1922-1926 and again from 1926 until 1943. The party would sit outside of government for most of the period 1943-1961, returning to the cabinet in the Laušman II cabinet, the so-called Constitutional Reform Government. Today, the party has displaced National Unification and the Czechoslovak Liberal Party as the main centre-right force in the country, providing several major Prime Ministers such as Antonín Švehla, Milan Hodža, Jozef Lettrich or Petr Farský.
In the 2017 general election, the party obtained 38 seats out of 300, becoming the second-largest party in the National Assembly. The party also holds 12 seats (of 80) in the Senate and is the sole party, together with the social democrats, to be represented in all four state diets. The party's political influence is strongest in the Subcarpathian Rus, eastern Slovakia and rural Bohemia.
The Republican Party is the mother organisation of the Union of the Republican Youth (JRD), the Union of Republican Academics (USRA), the Chamber of Landlords and Smallholders (DDM), the Union of Agricultural and Forestry Employees (OJZLZ), the Central Association of Public Servants and Teachers (USUaU) and the USVZ cooperative. It is a founding member of the International Agrarian Bureau, together with various other agrarian parties.

The only problem I have with this part, was that Goldwater was against bringing religion into politics, at least in OTL (Though I pretty sure he was not an atheist). In fact... “Mark my word, if and when these preachers get control of the party* and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in the name of God, so they can't and won't compromise. I know, I've tried to deal with them.”

This is an OTL quote. The book was ghostwritten by someone else, but published under his name. Goldwater was a complex figure.

A variant of the work uniform for the VSD (Volkssicherheitsdienst), the internal security service of Spartacist Germany and brother branch of the Soviet OGPU (Объединённое Государственное Политическое Управление При СНК СССР) circa 1928. The VSD Bureau, headed by People’s Security Minister Karl Friedrich "Fritz" Zubeil, has the stated mission of working within the Worker’s Republic to root out reactionary agents and agitators and to protect the fledgling Socialist Republic from its many enemies abroad. This is set in the same universe as this map from awhile back - this was made with credit to the wonderful assets on Deviantart by Luke27262 and Grand-Lobster-King.

A somewhat tongue-in-cheek attempt at categorising and explaining the many forms of alternate history, through the lens of an extra-universal 'Institute' and their tone deaf leaflet about the multiverse, quantum mechanics and the methodisation of vastly contradictory timelines in relation to one another. I've coined the term 'V.O.D' here, which is meant to be an auxiliary element to the P.O.D. I hope that doesn't come across as arrogant, I just needed to invent some terminology in order to sound half-sensical.
I based my methodology around the tendency among timelines to diverge (or indeed converge) at different rates, after a discussion with @TheKutKu about the oddness of people we recognise being born after a given POD. He noted that there are probably other ways of categorising timelines, which is almost assuredly true, and I'd like to see other attempts to methodise this hobby. Until then, I shall dominate the academia, mwahahaha!
Anyway, there are lots of references in here to all sorts of timelines, some graphic TLs, some famous, some less so. See if you can pick 'em all. I won't be confirming or denying though, that would take the fun out of it.
