Fall of Liberty
A series of maps I have created for fun with inspiration from Turning Point: Fall of Liberty, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and some Nazi war plans and vehicles you see in World of Tanks and War Thunder in this nearly 40 year long Second World War, there is too much lore I have created for myself to post so I'm putting in major details. Ich nichts ein wehraboo schwinhunt!
January of 1954:
The Germans have obviously control Europe by 1954. The Luftwaffe managed to disable enough of the RAF for Fallschimrjager suicide squads test British defenses by landing in Southern England. The Home Guard prove to be not that strong and in 1941 a massed invasion of Southern England and "jumping over" the RN and the Channel. German tanks meanwhile land at airfields onboard Messerschmitt Gigants. The Germans finally beat Britain after a massive slog to Scotland by 1943. Most of the RN and the British government, along with large amounts of the population escaping to Canada. While the Home surrenders, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand remain at war with Germany. The Soviet Invasion goes through in 1942 and fighting lasts till 1946 until a final Soviet surrender at Kazan. However major European resistance fighting would last till even the start of the war against the US. In 1941 Hitler, invading Britain opted not to go to war with the United States. Therefore the US focused its efforts on Japan waging the Pacific War to the same degree as OTL but a bit quicker. However by 1945 with no invasion of Manchuria by the Russians, Japan refuses to surrender and Operation: Downfall takes place by US forces. The Western Allies are involved in the Pacific even after Africa and Britain have fallen to Germany. By 1946 the US crushes major resistance on the Home Islands but Japanese forces on the Mainland still refuse to surrender. The US launches campaigns with its Chinese and CANZ allies to liberate occupied Asia and completes this by 1949. India however is a large federation united under the Azad Hind and is fairly pro-German and has little interest in the US, so far. Lebensraum goes through but Plan Z gets large amounts of funding along with laborers in Britain and France to help out. The German surface fleet grows 3-fold in a few years and still isn't even complete by the time of 1954. The US always saw the Germans as rivals and still developed tanks capable of dealing with German armor and the Germans still developed big cats. When the war begins the US will have Perishing's, early Patton's, and Walker Bulldogs, jet fighters and more. Germany cant produce Nuclear Weapons but they are close, its just that the German atomic engineer's are in America. So we hit 1954, Von Brauns V-bombs have been touching down in Canada, France and Britain have been reduced to Vichy Puppets with fractions of the Empires they once had. The US controls Asia and are separated by the German puppets of the former USSR to weak to fight, or neutral fascist India.
July of 1959
The Invasion of the US wasn't overnight, it was the culmination of several years of planning by the Reich. Open war started with an all out invasion of US occupied Iceland, then Greenland fell, and by February of 1955 Germans were raiding Newfoundland and Labrador. The Kreigsmarine bloodied the Atlantic fleet in the Battle of Bermuda and the USN and RCN retreated to the Gulf of Mexico. The invasion of North America happened in Summer around Boston, Long Island, Virginia Beach, and Daytona Beach. The US is taken by surprise but the war industry on the west coast keeps the defense alive. The Germans are stalled on the Appalachians by into early 1957 allowing the US to bring refugee's and industry begin the Mississippi. The Germans manage however to break through in Alabama where the terrain flattens out and German armor manages to threaten the line which forces a US and Canadian retreat and large amounts of industry is sacked by the US army. Cities like Buffalo, Eire, Cleveland, and Detroit burn as the Germans advance. Four reichskommisarats are formed, Kanada, Neu England, Dixieland, and Ohio. The puppet armies of France and Britain are used in North America however the Italians don't have many troops in North America, seeing it as a German War. The US refuses to use nukes on American soil and jets are capable to shoot down B-36's. In 1959 a hurricane managed to wreck a German offensive in Louisiana, and exploiting this the US crossed into Eastern Louisiana and a slow collapse of the line occurred as US troops exploited the gap wrecked by mother nature. The Germans pull the same tactic the US pulled on them after learning what the Russians did. By January 1961 the only Germans left in North America were in Cuba, Newfoundland proper, and Greenland.
1990: 17 years after the end of the Second World War
The Allies began 1962 off with liberating Cuba and Newfoundland. Most of the America's were pulled into the fight with pro-American governments being established in Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico. The US stationed troops in Brazil and began using the country for a staging ground of Operation: King. Landings in Liberia and other west African cities by the US saw major success and after only two months of fighting between US, Vichy French, and Imperial British forces. The USN was also able to bring over most of the fleet from the Pacific. The US also had navally invaded the ports of Vladivostok and Petropavlovsk in Siberia to token Siberian resistance. In the battle of the Denmark Strait the USN and KM met one last decisive time in Ship to Ship engagement. The USN wiped out the remaining German ships and a pathway clear to Britain was achieved. Token German forces in Greenland and Iceland were overwhelmed by thousands of angry Yankee's. By 1965 Operation: John Paul Jones went underway with strategic landings in Northern Ireland and Scotland. Imperial British forces fought back but their outdated equipment such as Lee-Enfield's, old Cromwell and Crusader tanks, were no match for US M29 heavy's and M48 mediums. Imperial Britain surrendered to the US and Canadian forces and Queen Elizabeth was returned to the crown as King Edward VIII abdicated the British throne, attempting to save his own skin. The Germans go into a panic as no Atlantic Wall was created. Defenses start being put up mainly around Calais. By 1970 after several years of rebuilding and de-fascifing Britain. The First Royal Army brigades are put into active service and used in Operation: Blackjack, the invasion of France. Safe to say the Germans fight hard but it is a delaying action to the Rhine as the Italians compromise with the Americans, allowing Italy to be unoccupied, let allied troops pass through, however they would have to give up all territories until their pre-1936 borders. Finally after fighting by 1972 the Allies reach the German heartland...only for the Reich to escape out east. The US and reinvigorated Western Allies tiringly push onto Warsaw and into the territories carved out for German lebensraum. By 1973 however, the burgeoning Russian population revolts and a total collapse of the Third Reich in the east falls apart. The world is remodeled in the US-Canadian Image. Germany was divided into four states, Hanover, Rhineland, Bavaria, and Brandenburg. Poland actually speaks half Polish and half English, as poles living in Britain, France, and America. The US would finally leave Japan in 1980 yet however would keep US military occupation territories in Siberia. The World is split two ways, the US-Commonwealth Alliance keeping Europe in check and the Asian block who the Chinese and Indians have carved out their own alliance, to counterweight the US. Nuclear Weapons are swiftly in the hands of only the US, Canada, and Australia, but China and India are not far behind and the only reason why China doesn't go to war with the US is because there is no way for its conventional army to cross the Pacific and occupy the United States without having its whole navy destroyed by the US.
