Flag of the Union of Sonia-Berdian Council Republics, one of the first socialist states to pop into existence on Erecond. They went a little bit crazier than their neighbor Escrot (who uses a plain red flag up to this day), the canton representing the union between Sonia-Berdia, and the red representing the worker's own those means of production within it. Of course, the hammer and sickle are among the most well-known symbols on the planet as Sonia-Berdia's grasp on the world was quite strong during its existence. The U.R.O.Z. is the full name of the country in the native official language of the country, Berdian, it means the Union der Rätsrepubliken Onsoien-Züglich.

Alternate flag for Communist China - the text is supposed to stay “Unceasing Revolution” or “Constant Revolution” but Google Translate is a fickle thing so I can’t be sure.

The Kingdom of Prussia

Fall and Rise
Prior to the Napoleonic Empire, the new Kingdom of Prussia seemed poised for greatness. A series of blunders however saw its initial gains divided among its enemies and cadets, the kingdom itself reduced to the Old Duchies and Pomerelia, a near vassal of Russia and Sweden.
Then came the death of the Emperor Napoleon and the collapse of his empire. Sweden then Britain promoted the expansion of Prussia against a resurgent Denmark and Russia in turmoil.
The Polish Revolt saw the addition of Netzen & Posen districts as a Swedish guarantee of the independent Kingdom of Poland.
British mediation saw all Pomerania added in exchange for recognition of Denmark up to the Elbe and Mecklenburg.
War with Saxony saw the Hohenzollern-Potsdam rulers defeated and the Duchy of Brandenburg added.
Barring minor border changes during the Great War this has been the extent of the Kingdom of Prussia.

Eagle, Sun, and Stripes
The Flag developed from that used following the division: a black & white horizontal stripes bearing the Prussian Arms of a black eagle on white.
Varying stripes were used by the King and Royal Armies; the civil administration tending to use 3, the Royal Standard reverting to a plain white field.
The Sun developed from the ornate golden fimbriation used around the arms. With the annexation of Brandenburg celebratory flags turned the fimbriation into rays of the sun. This proved so popular when reused during the Great War it was officially added to the design.

What if the ancestors of the Khasis ended up in the valleys of Irrawaddy and Salween instead of Northeast India, particularly in Meghlaya?

Here's the flag of (ATL) Myanmar/Burma, as described in the question above:

a flag of British West Indies

a flag of Malta which still remains british

a flag of Spain, in a TL where Leopold of Hohenzollern is king

a flag of Spain where Jose Fernando of Bavaria didn't die and he's king in the 1700's

Seems reasonable.

What have you done here and why?
Ensigns are generally single colours. Those that aren't fit the canton into the design.

a flag of British West Indies
Just slapping a British Union Flag as canton doesn't work for this one either.

a flag of Malta which still remains british
The George Cross might be butterflyed but if not it probably won't go on the canton. Rest of the design works though.

Dear Professor, for the flag of South Africa, I got a little inspired by the colors of OTL with the flag of the former colonial power, the Netherlands.
As for the British West Indies, I put the Union Jack for their membership in the United Kingdom.
After all, I don't really know about british ensigns.

Maybe earlier success for the Mexican revolution could lead to more countries usingwhatever this calavera cross is, though it seems like a symbol for rebellion in general en par with the hands holding swords and hourglasses used by pirates.

Mieszko I converts to Orthodox Christianity instead of Roman Catholicism and later expands into Russia. The name Poland becomes associated with the area around Poznan, while the state adopts the name Russia. Poles, diligently following the Orthodox faith, adopt the Cyrillic alphabet. Sound changes which occurred in Polish OTL are sidelined by the relatively safe area between Poland and Muscovy. Polish-Russian is essentially a dialect continuum, with the palatalized dialect of Greater and Lesser Poland giving way to the more standard Russian spoken from Warsaw to Moscow.

tl;dr Poland conquers Russia only to become Russia.
