Well, I, for one, would agree with Moscow and Russia being two separate entities with zero connection.
Cool it may be and as a setting for a game it would be wonderful but if you were to believe this to be actually the true shape of the world that's where the 'horrible education' part is located.

I look at this and I can't help to wonder.
Which "Yah" is the real "Yah" as there are two "Yah". Is that where Hyrule is located, and they got Link to name the planet/sun/etc?
Yah is Moon Two, but they forgot to name its shadow something different
Because everything becomes more credible if one uses ancient Egyptian stuff, just ask yugioh!

This is probably the most pointless map I've ever seen. It's not even entertainingly wrong, just fantastically lazy. Why even make it at all? For one, it would be so easy to find decent maps of the USA, and I don't understand what this map would be used for anyway.
I am almost certain Jerusalem is supposed to be at the center. Though I suppose Greenwich might do.

Indeed. Just a bit of a joke on my part. And yes, those sort of maps were always stylized anyways. No no, that map is distorted by religious superstitions.
The Flatearthers map is supported by pseudoscience and aliens! (and probably the tinfoil producing industry)
I am more concerned with how New Jersey looks pink. I am unsure if Delaware is shown as Confederate pink here or if it is the orange of the Free States. Neither really works. And then of course there is Indian Territory and Michigan... seriously, we all need to start searching archive.org for old school books. The maps can be so fun at times.
