As the allied Japanese-Czech juggernaut was approaching the city of Prague, the Czech resistance was planning an uprising to end the German Occupation which had lasted for a little over 9 years. All the while, the Germans were preparing the city for war as they were fortifying the Prague for the oncoming Japanese hordes. Below them in the sewers of Prague, the Czech Resistance were stockpiling arms and munitions for the planned uprising, as well as making other preparations like setting up a headquarters and staging areas.

Reinhard Heydrich, the Protector of Bohemia and Moravia, he would survive the assassination attempt by Czech partisans as part of Operation Anthropoid in 1942.

On the night of April 27th, 1948, Reinhard Heydrich surrendered to the Czech Resistance, in which the man who supply his former enemies the maps and critical information about the German forces in and around the city of Prague. For this, he had announced that he was intending to defect to the Japanese, as he realized that Germany and going to be crushed by Japan. The agents of the Nakano Spy School would extract Heydrich from the Prague and bring him back to the headquarters of General Yamashita at Modlin Fortress.

On May 2nd, the Czech partisans made their move and initiated the Uprising, with the Nakano Spy School giving the partisans information about German forces as well as arms. It all started when the Partisans seized the local radio station from the Germans and transmitted a call for an uprising in Czech, a language never spoken since 1939 on that station. The partisans would clash with German Wehrmacht and SS troops in and around the city, and along with the Pro-German Russians of the POA*. There was an intense street by street, house by house, and room by room fighting, the Germans were caught completely disorganized as a majority of their troops were placed on the outskirts of the city for an expected Japanese attack on the city. Within a couple of days, the Czech partisan forces would quickly get the edge over their German occupiers, such much so, that the POA would turn on the Germans and join the partisans.

After several intense days of fighting, the Czech Partisans would cause the remaining German troops in Prague to surrender to them on May 8th, 1948. Thus, ending 9 years of nonstop German occupation of the city. Two days later on the 10th, the forward units of the Czechoslovak Legion and the Imperial Japanese Army entered the city and found that the Partisans had already liberated their capital from the Germans. Thus, it was the last European capital under German occupation to fall. Days later, during a parade, the new leader of the Czechoslovak State Emerged, that was one Edvard Benes, the prewar leader of Czechoslovakia.

Charles Manson (1934 - 1977). After Lady King's take over of America, she'd divide the country into small dominions, all swearing loyalty to her. Two of the men placed in charge of California was the infamous criminal and cult leader Charles Manson, along with the relatively calmer religious leader by the name of Jim Jones. Manson was considered by Lady King as a "Loose cannon" who added "Now I may like batshit insane, but even I have my limits". She would grow to question where his true loyalties lied before discovering (From Jim Jones) that he and his small "Family" of devoted followers intended to stage his own coup against her. She wouldn't take too kindly to this, allowing a safe refuge to the former soldier Joseph Taylor on the condition that he'd kill Manson and his followers. Afterwards, she'd kept Manson's head as a trophy.

Astrogeologist Lcdr. Eugene Shoemaker (April 28, 1928 – July 18, 1997) on the lunar surface during the Copernicus Expedition of 1964. Shoemaker was instrumental in the early exploration of the lunar surface. After actively serving in three sperate lunar expeditions, he was eventually promoted to flag-rank and succeeded Admiral Robert Heinlein as Chief of Staff of the United States Space Force. As CoS he spearheaded efforts to explore both Mars and the Asteroid Belt. Shoemaker continued to serve in that position until his retirement in 1992. He is seen here taking samples at Copernicus with a Lunar Transport Vehicle (LTV) in the background. Note also the safety tether attaching Shoemaker to the LTV - a precaution that was done away with after the first expedition proved it to be unnecessary.

Inspired by watching the first episode of the HBO drama last night...

Although I am not quite sure how a Magnox or an AGR reactor would misbehave in a similar way to the RMBK one at Chernobyl because of their design.

Even though the said President is usinh lethal forces against demonstrators
As I remember from watching a documentary on Kent state a lot of the towns people actually were on the police side. At it highly the counter culture was still a minority in the us. I think the hard right would still support the President.

Documentary remains subpar compared to peer reviewed academic journal articles and books, esp. When documentary is more prone to info manipulation as a documentary is not subject the rigorous standards of source check and referencing.

Also, the effect of a worse Vietnam War and use of nuclear weapon would have enhance resistance to the Administration.

What about the gallop taken shortly after the shootings that 58% of the people polled believed the responsibility for the deaths was the student.

1. It was 48%.
2. There was cosequences as percentage of Americans that thought US withdrawl from Vietnam was too slow increased from 26% in late 1969 to 34% in May 1970. Counterculture and domestic political movements were intimately connected to the Vietnam War. A more aggressively conducted Vietnam War is likely to lead to more war casualties which would feed back to domestic politics. Using OTL poll data makes little sense unless your TL justified that the US Pop swinged more to the right due to all the TTL changes, but I cannot find such descriptions.

Jim Jones (1931 -). After Lady Kings take over, Jim Jones, the charismatic leader of the Peoples Temple would soon be placed in charge of California, sharing his power with the more sadistic and less stable Charles Manson. Jones would not hide his dislike of Manson, and many people would speculate that he had made up the allegations that had gotten Manson killed in 1977, though this is merely a theory. Overtime Jones would rise up the ranks, becoming the right hand and advisor of Lady King, many speculating that he had begun a relationship with her, though this has been questioned. He had served as the international negotiator since the 1990s.

1953. Singer and actress Marilyn Monroe (Codenamed: Venus) and comedian, singer and Rat Pack member Sammy Davis Jr. (Codenamed: Batty). Sammy Davis Jr. is seen in this photo demonstrating his superhuman ability of telepathy, which he used primarily for flight. Sammy was very public with his powers, and was given the nickname of "Batty" from other Rat Pack members after joking that "He was a flying rat" and that "He was almost driving us batty". Marilyn Monroe's powers manifested in 1950, albeit not yet noticed until later on, when it was discovered that her ageing had seized entirely. Both would be named honorary members of the Syndicate of Heroes.
