Wow! 31 likes! That's the most I've gotten out of, well, anything except for certain posts in the HOI. That being said I have two questions: what attracted you guys two this post? And should I make this a full wikipage?

I very much liked the post dictatorship feeling and definitely the portraits seem interesting.

I think a full Wikipage would be great for this.

I've whipped up another batch of infoboxes showing Canada's three smaller parties (with representation in the legislature)
I6rI5Tn.png

Union Nationale came around in 1936, formed by those who thought the PDC had become too moderate. the PDC had lost the 1932 and 1938 presidential elections to the PSP and their was little fate they could win the 1944, in the first round of the 1944 Presidential Election the PSP received the most votes, with the Union Nationale in second and the PDC in third, meaning the second round was between the PSP and Union Nationale, surprisingly Union Nationale candidate Maurice Duplessis won the 1944 election, and served as the only Union Nationale president until 1950. Since Duplessis' controversial presidency,Union Nationale has not won any national or provincial elections although they have served as coalition partners in some provincial governments. Ever since the party's decline they have gone between being a National Conservative and Integralist/Fascist party, although for the past 20 years they have been more National Conservative.

The Left Front was created in 2008 by Jean-Luc Melenchon and his allies as an alternative to the increasingly moderate PSP, and was able to attract well known politicans like Gilles Duceppe to the party. The party supports environmentalism and socialism, and has gained more popularity in recent years.

Henri Perot, a Business Magnate from Ouachita ran under the newly formed banner of the MPLR in the 1992 Presidential Election, in the most shocking result since the 1944 Presidential Election, the MPLR beat out the PDC too go up against the PSP in the second round. Perot again shook the nation when he was able to win the 1992 Presidential Election. Perot's presidency was decently popular but failed to get much done without having any base in the National Assembly or Senate, causing him to dip in popularity. In the 1998 General Election, Perot took a seat in the National Assembly in his hometown of La Salle which he held until 2004 when he did not run for re-election, and his seat and party leadership was taken by his son, Gabriel Perot. In 2010, the MPLR was reduced to a single seat in the National Assembly, and the party has often been criticized for its cult like following for Perot, and polls indicate Gabriel Perot is likely to loose his seat in the upcoming 2019 General Election.

Adrian Mole Was Right
"I have lived under Tory rule for most of my life, but as dawn breaks on May the First I predict New Labour will scrape in with a tiny majority... possibly three... to form the next government."

(This is based on the hilariously pessimistic comment of Adrian Mole on the eve of the 1997 General Election from the Book and later one off tv show "Adrian Mole: The Cappuccino Years". I suppose for an actual POD maybe Blair isn't quite able to take the centre ground, for example perhaps he keeps Clause IV. This was just a spur of the moment idea from rewatching the TV Show.)

What office(s) did Beau Willimon hold in this TL? I guess this means no American House of Cards, unless someone else helmed the show. I also realized he would be just barely old enough to serve as VP (he turned 35 in 2012) and would be the youngest VP in U.S. history, beating John Breckinridge by a year.

Also I love that the Democrats won Oklahoma. I'm guessing Carson won the 2004 Senate race against Tom Coburn.

He worked as a communications staffer on Dean's campaign IOTL and gets a similar post in the White House, then returns to Missouri to run for the senate in 2010 following Dean's defeat.

And yup, Carson wins in 2004.
