Ive been on this board for a while now and have been thinking of an idea i got from a map on deviant art and the idea of the ottomans purchasing the Louisianan territory due to a few pods
Such as a less powerful janissary corps a earlier military modernization
a stronger hold on ottoman north africa a few victorys here in there which allow for the ottomans to keep a slightly more offensive hold along with a more neutral ottoman victory and allows for them to maintain some form of semblance of stability.
Butterfly's hit here and there like the polish Lithuanian commonwealth managing to stay stable. but things maintain a large form of similarity the US gains Independence a seven years war still happens and they manage to gain Independence.And the Quasi war still happens but american french relations are poor enough that Napoleon sells the territory to the ottoman empire.
They are able to roughly maintain it through negotiations of asking for Spanish protection with the help of France backing them
The napelonic wars end in a French victory when he decides to take St. Peter's burg and manages to win mostly out of sheer luck keeping himself in order
America manages to defeat Brittany in the war of 1812 through more competence on their part and a tighter war in Europe distracting the British from Canada.
The Spanish New world is a bit of a clusterfuck of the highest order with strong men attempting to take over anywhere and everywhere
As this is happening in Europe the Greek war of independence goes sour and they are mostly defeated
Eventually only a few leaders of the movement survive

where he takes as many greeks as he can with american help and as many leaders as he can to establish the republic of new hellas in the ottoman territory in the new world
This project will be based in 2018 and in regards to plausbility keep in mind this is my first work with the first map coming tommorrow!
