It's not an obligation. That thread was mainly created to stop spam, people making slight variations on the same map for the sake of a meme, like that infamous 'where pizza is good' map that got rehashed a billion times. One map with a farcical premise doesn't have to go into it.

Which resources are you referring to? They certainly don't have much arable land or people
More metals than anything else. Uranium and Iron. They would be invadeable if not for being in buttfuck nowhere
I kind of don't think uranium mining would be a top priority in such a scenario. Most Australians wouldn't react to the crisis by prospecting in the outback and Indonesia outnumbers them 10 to 1. They certainly wouldn't be able to exert any sort of serious influence over Indonesia or Japan; maybe New Zealand if they really tried. But when no one's coming out of the scenario in a strong position (most of the world disappearing helps no one) Australia doesn't have any prospect of becoming a world power, in the aftermath or in the forseeable future.
Now that the world is even more only water, maybe in some thousands or years we will see a new Devonian Era
OTL right? A shame Turks weren't questioned. I would expect a green as dark as Greece and Ukraine. I am kinda surprised about Italy too. Would have expected a higher number.
