Photos of the Kaiserreich

It probably doesn't exist since it was created 60 years after established canon. Otherwise, it depends on what happens to Japan.

I mean besides some notable examples, Kaiserreich uses a butterfly net for the majority of people and cultural events. So if the likes of Tintin and the Blue Lotus exist, surely pokemon exists in some form later along the line.

Tintin was started in 1929 by Georges Prosper Remi who was born around 8 years before the POD, Pokemon was released in 1996 by Satoshi Tajiri who was born 29 years after the start of the game. They are not the same.

I realise that but if we were to strictly go by the butterfly effect, due to a central powers win there would logically be no Tintin or a great deal many other things that appear in game. I think it's fine to use a butterfly net for Kaiserreich, one of the settings appeal is to see how figures from OTL developed differently while still being recognizable.

I disagree. It is perfectly reasonable for Tintin to still exist in the Kaiserreich timeline. The same cannot be said for Pokemon.

Why? Belgium lost the war, occupied until 1920, facing extended Flamenpolitik and food shortages, facing the upheaval of being reformed into the puppet kingdom Flanders-Wallonia while losing Belgian Luxembourg and their colonial empire. Honestly I'm surprised Hergé even survived the ordeal, let alone having his future only marginally changed to allow Tintin to exist.

German Tiger tank being prepared to go into battle. Circa 1942

The Tiger first made its debut in the ruins of Strasbourg. The day day the Tiger was introduced, it destroyed 20 enemy tanks, and the Germans did a counter-attack that threw the French and British back 6 blocks. Due to the circumstances in which the Tiger was created, it was great vehicle to use in defensive warfare, but wasn't viable on the offensive. It was very heavy and its engine was under powered, but it did have a very good gun, so it was kept in service until the end of the war.

A 1939 photograph showing the infamous "White Man's Triumph" march, where thousands of KKK members marched throughout Washington DC to celebrate the Silver Legion's successful coup against Huey Long. The surprising use of the old US flag in this march was meant to symbolize the rebirth of the United States into "a true nation of the White Christian Man".

Nimrata Haley, first female prime minister of the dominion of India
Elected in 2016, her government has been characterised by both a reproachment with the empire of Japan regarding Burma's indipendence and an hawkish policy towards the Russian Empire and its incursions into afghan territory

Alfonso XIV, first king of the spanish government-in-exile in the Balearic islands
In 1938, following the CNT-FAI's victory in the spanish civil war, Germany and France backed a military coup in the Balearic islands, making them indipendent from continental spain and planning to use them to launch an invasion of Spain during the Second Weltkrieg
However this invasion never happened thanks to spanish neutrality during the conflict
Even today Alfonso's heirs still claim to be the legitimate government of Spain

José Antonio Primo de Rivera, leader of the nationalistic forces during the Spanish Civil War
Following his defeat, he escaped with the rest of his government to Spanish Sahara, founding an other spanish government-in-exile ( the so-called "Spanish State") besides the one in the Balearic Islands
Unlike Alfonso XIV however, he soon lost all support from the Etente and the reichspackt thanks to his violation of human rights and violence towards the natives

An anti-government poster released during the 1972 Spanish National Plebiscite, encouraging the spanish population to end the oppressive Second Spanish Republic

The fact the dictatorship respected the results is attributed to its international isolation and pressure from the rest of Europe

Logo of Soyuzmultfilm (Union Cartoon). Established in 1948 as a department of the All-Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Union, in 1956 it would become an independent animation studio, providing the Syndicalist world with children’s animation films and shows. With the help of American and exiled Japanese animators, Soyuzmultfilm would become one of the most important animation studios in the world. Its films are known for its various animation techniques, artistic quality (though sometimes bordering the bizarre) and funny yet mature stories. Soyuzmultfim has become an essential part of kids’ lives in the Syndicalist world, with characters such as Winnie-The-Pooh, Mowgli, Volk and Zayats or Stray Bullet being integral parts of many childhoods.

With the end of the Cold War Soyuzmultfilm has entered the markets of the Capitalist world, competing with Disney, The Dream Factory and the Japanese anime industry.

Promotional image of the Australasian production Sunset. Named after the famous last sentence of Queen Elizabeth’s abdication speech (“...the Sun has finally set on the British Empire”), the series tells the story of Elizabeth’s life, from her birth and childhood in Halifax to the aftermath of the Republican Referendum and the end of the British monarchy, covering her experience during the Great World War[1] and her rule as Queen of Australasia and the United Kingdom-in-exile after the death of her uncle, the childless Edward VIII “the Tyrant”, in 1954. The show has been critically acclaimed by its acting, directing, cinematography and plot, as well as for its accurate representation of Elizabeth, though critics have pointed out its dismissive attitude towards Edward VIII’s rule, portraying him as a “good man in the wrong place and at the wrong time” and minimising his role in the elaboration and approbation of Bill C-7.

The show has also been criticized by several Syndicalist reviewers due to its “rosy view of aristocracy and monarchy” and scepticism towards Syndicalism, which has lead to some of the most vocal members of the far left calling for its ban, arguing that it is “a piece of imperialist propaganda”. In the Union of Britain a minor scandal occurred after being announced that Claire Foy, a British actress who had moved to Melbourne after marrying an Australasian, would interpret the Queen. Harpal Brar, member of the Unitarian[2] faction, has called for the revocation of the citizenship of the “traitor”, though his reclamation and others of similar nature have fallen on deaf ears.

Headquarters of the Council of Nations, Honolulu, Republic of Hawaii. Marking the end of the Cold War, the CN was established in 1994 as an international body to promote the peaceful resolution of conflicts, global cooperation and the creation of a transnational consensus. The Council has managed to maintain peace in most of the world and build bridges between the international community, though it has not been able to live up to the expectations of bringing a new era of peace and global fraternity.

Honolulu was chosen as the location for the HQ due to it historically being a neutral ground for international meetings and peace conferences, beginning with the Honolulu Treaty that ended the Great World War in 1946, and continuing to this day, even after Hawaii joined the Asia-Pacific Co-Prosperity Sphere in 1959. Other regional HQs are scattered around the world (New York, London, Buenos Aires, Dar es-Salam, Shanghai...).

[1]In my TL the Weltkrieg is known as either that or the Great European War, and the series of conflicts in the early 40s that intermingled until becoming a global war receive the name of Great World War.

[2]After the T. E. Lawrence Coup and the end of the GWW Totalism fell out of favour in the Syndintern, but several factions still continued to call for the need of centralization, world revolution and some degree of authoritarianism (the level depends of the group). In the UoB the main of such factions are the Unitarians, who call for greater centralization and the continuation of the “Workers’ Crusade”, as well as maintaining a moderate form of British nationalism.

Union of Britain propaganda film, The Great Dictator. Starring Charlie Chaplin, it was filmed during 1937, satirizing Boris Savinkov's rise to power. When angry, "the dictator" Vlad Draculsi can yell a 'dog russian" type of mock speech. Yet Chaplin plays another character, a persecuted Syndicalist in a labour camp. Nevertheless, they resemble each other and a surprise will occur later. Sadly, when the totalists took power and allied with the Russian State, both this film and Charlie Chaplin were erased from the memory, yet it returned when German soldiers captured copies. Very popular today.

What are the Three Stooges and Marx Brothers like in Kaiserreich?

Canadian soldiers landing in Moray, Scotland, July 13, 1945.

Contrary to the disastrous landings of Marseilles and Málaga, the invasion of northern Scotland was a success. The Canadian plan was to launch an amphibious assault from the Shetland Islands and establish a beachhead in Moray and Aberdeenshire with 200,000 troops, to where they would send another 300,000 soldiers, as well as supplies and vehicles. From there, and with the help of the Loyalist troops T.E. Lawrence could muster, the invasion army would continue south, taking advantage of the clash between the Totalists and the other Syndicalist forces.

Funeral in honour of a fallen Canadian soldier, Inverness, Scotland, 1945.

The landing was successful, managing to take control of the coast south of the Moray Firth, and soon occupied the Scottish Highlands and conquered Aberdeen. However, the British naval victory in the Second Battle of the Faroe Islands and the August Offensive, that saw the main ports of Quebec and Newfoundland overran by American forces, meant that the supplies and reinforcements would never arrive. Nonetheless the invasion continued as planned, hoping that the Syndicalists would be too busy fighting each other to present a strong resistance.

Canadian field medic treating a child in an unknown British town, 1945.
Initially the Canadian army was able to conquer Scotland and northern England, with the occupation of Liverpool, Manchester and York dealing a heavy blow to the UoB. However, the Syndies were able to defeat the remaining Mosleyites earlier than expected, making advance harder. The offensive was stopped at the Battle of Stafford in October, and the Canadians were forced to retreat towards the north. With incoming troops from the Russian front and guerrilla fighters harassing the Royalists, British troops were able to recapture Liverpool by Christmas, and slowly retake England and southern Scotland. The Canadian army made a last stand in Edinburgh, where 60,000 men would die and the city would be left in ruins. Field Marshall Bernard Montgomery, leader of (what was left of) the “Liberation Army”, decided that to continue the fight would be a suicide, and surrendered to the Union of Britain in April 23, 1946.
