Seriously though, this was how I made alternate history maps until, like... a year ago. I got a bit better but definitely never will do it again.

Oh, and what base map did you use for this? It looks sorta familiar.

This was a missed opportunity to have an Egyptian Constantinople, or as I like to call it, Egypstanbul.:p

Although, I could genuinely see European imperialists actually carving up Africa like this if the conditions were right (it obviously wouldn't all be ceded to British Egypt but you get the point). I mean, there are more senseless former colonial borders in OTL.
