I would've imagined the California Republic claimed all of Upper California, to be honest.
They did. I'm only including the Bear Flag Revolt, which barely got any of California AFAIK

Kind of boring, but here is a rough map of if the Republic of German-Austria, with all its claimed land, was annexed by Germany:

Heres the map itself:
GRAND and NAWPA, both massive irrigation schemes proposed during the 50s that were rejected for cost reasons.
