And by a faithless elector, from the looks of it.Ah. That’s probably why they only won one seat.

What’s the Christian Party? This is the electoral map of the United states in a map game I was in. Thought y'all would like it.
Election of 1880
Conservative southern party by the looks of it.What’s the Christian Party?
The Christian Party was a union between the Christian Heritage Party and Christian Democratic Union. They were actually a spoiler party toward the Republicans which conversely were pro government. Mississippi actually became majority republican after TTL's Civil War and so it's highly Christian ideals allowed it to overcome the Republicans in that state. What’s the Christian Party?
wat2024: The Year US Politics Stopped Making Sense
Former Governor Charlie Baker (R-MA)/Former Governor Bruce Rauner (R-IL) 50.2% popular vote, 287 electoral votes
Former Governor Dave Freudenthal (D-WY)/Senator Ben Nelson (D-NE) 47.9% popular vote, 249 electoral votes
I was tired of all the Baker vs Manchin type scenarios and instead wanted to do an election between a liberal Republican and two moderate Democrats from the plains states.

True, maybe I should have gone with something like; "The Year The Electoral Map Made No Sense Whatsoever".The title implies that US politics ever did make sense
...So the exact same thing as Baker vs. Manchin?I was tired of all the Baker vs Manchin type scenarios and instead wanted to do an election between a liberal Republican and two moderate Democrats from the plains states.
No no, it's clearly different because Freudenthal is from Wyoming and Manchin is from West Virginia...So the exact same thing as Baker vs. Manchin?

It would require some sort of bizarre realignment wherein the Democratic base is poor, rural whites and poor minorities while the GOP base is wealthy whites and wealthy minorities. I can't really see it happening anytime soon, unless William Jennings Bryan is resurrected from the dead and makes a fourth run for the White House. This makes me wonder about the feasibility of an East/West party split instead of the traditional North/South (with a TL of course)
The 1853 Map game by Gbhem. What game is this?
You just need to flip Michigan and either New Hampshire or one of the Dakotas.Guys? I think I may have accidentally started the Second Civil War

Somehow keep the Ford/Carter division going. This makes me wonder about the feasibility of an East/West party split instead of the traditional North/South (with a TL of course)
