Which part of it specifically?
The Arctic coast on the east side of the Urals, it looks weird. If you take a look at Canada's Arctic coastline it looks reasonably accurate, same with Antarctica, but not with Siberia.

My future map series has officially started, heres the thread and my first entry: https://www.alternatehistory.com/fo...ied-states-of-the-galaxy-subdivisions.441405/

I'll have to look into this tomorrow and dig up some of the maps I used for reference for that region. It may have to do with the projection used, but if not I'll try to correct it.

(slang, derogatory) An incomprehensible writing script. Usually used to refer to Chinese characters, Hiragana, Katakana or any other East Asian writing script.

Surely there was a politer way of saying that?

It is not necesserly derogatory

Noun[edit]
moonrunes pl (plural only)

  1. (Internet slang) An incomprehensible writing script, or the language associated with it. Usually refers to Japanese, but may also refer to Chinese and other East Asian writing scripts.
    Can anyone here read moonrunes?
    I'm still learning moonrunes.

Uh, if I was being offensive, I apologize. I didn't say it to diss him, really. I mean, look at my profile picture. :3

No need to apologise. I wasn't offended. :p

Context is everything when it comes to using these kinds of insular, net-based 'languages' and using the 'moonrunes' meme in this context certainly isn't offensive.

Here's a quick WIP for a map of the Second American Civil War in Kaiserreich. Still have a lot of labeling to do, especially cities, rivers, lakes etc

So me and @Klime finished working on a base map which could be useful for the rest of the thread users given the case, it's, in a nutshell, a reduced vesion of the VT-BAM. Sorry for this kind of spam for the thread.
