Which part of it specifically?

The Arctic coast on the east side of the Urals, it looks weird. If you take a look at Canada's Arctic coastline it looks reasonably accurate, same with Antarctica, but not with Siberia.

I'll have to look into this tomorrow and dig up some of the maps I used for reference for that region. It may have to do with the projection used, but if not I'll try to correct it.

honestly, if i knew nothing about geography, you could show this to me and i'd be convinced it's an official map.

it's not that i can't say i've never seen something so detailed, but it's definitely impressive

No need to apologise. I wasn't offended.

Context is everything when it comes to using these kinds of insular, net-based 'languages' and using the 'moonrunes' meme in this context certainly isn't offensive.

It's not derogatory at all; it's been used by manga fans to refer to untranslated text for over a decade.
