Perhaps, if you want to include this country's berber cultural component, you could add a checkered pattern.

Perhaps, if you want to include this country's berber cultural component, you could add a checkered pattern.

I was considering the Berber influence at first but figured that, as shown in the past, the Berbers have forcefully been "arabic-ised" so figured that a trans-national country/empire based in this area would follow suit.

Me, I'm pretty lousy when it comes to flags so I've started making heraldic crests as of late. I've got quite a few of them for a little ASOIAF thing I've got in the works, but have the one that I put in a teaser in the Misc ASOIAF thread!

I'll post the rest of them when I've finished the post!

Nordified Hungarian Flags

Top-left corner: Just plain old white and red, because those were the original colors of Hungary.
Top- and bottom-right: Red white and green, featuring all three colors of Hungary, in an aesthetically pleasing way. I wasn't exactly sure if red would be in the center or green, so I just went with both.
Bottom-left: Red green white, formed in a way I felt would be the most traditional fitting with the Coat of Arms. White cross on a green hill with a red background.

Alternative use: Print these and hang them on your Christmas tree to get you in holiday spirit.
