Here's something Turquoise Blue might find a use for.

I'm just tapping in here to say I'm still having a look at this map to see if I could add anything - and to drop a few links I found useful when starting out with climate stuff (at least the ones that are still around, some of the forums I went to cannot be found!):

This one goes back so far you have to go to the internet archive to find it. Basic good advice but all in one place, so very useful.

Another general purpose guide. All basic stuff, again, but when it's organized it makes far more sense.

And I usually go with the four major climates first, at this level of detail (green Iceland, yellow Australia is not perfect, but it's basically right). After you get the big blocks, you can work on ocean currents, and then prevailing winds, and then find out where it's rainy, and then it's pretty much done!

Lol, now I wanna try to make something with this map, but I don't wanna steal Turquoise' thunder. Looks fantastic though, you did an awesome job!

I don't have a problem with you using the map. It wasn't created for Chronicles of Hennodia after all.

Do get Imperator Frank's agreement first, though.

Talamor is now 80% finished. Only the northern areas are undone. Then it's redoing the other two continents (the ocean can wait lol) and the elevation is done.

Wait, what's that bit on the North of the central continent that's over 1000 meters below sea-level?

Is it a Messinian/dried med equivalent?

I hope I'm not imposing by offering a sketch of my impression of potential climate zones and the ocean waters. I love world building threads, especially really well-done collaborative ones. There are probably more details being worked out on some of the periphery of the map, but I hope this syncs up with what you're thinking about already. :D

That's awesome, i really appreciate it. I have no idea when it comes to climate so thanks for this.
