This is Trump's absolute best case scenario for 2020, give or take New Mexico.

The Trump-Brown campaign ruthlessly attacked Clinton throughout the campaign, driving down her numbers tremendously. Clinton was not able to properly retaliate thanks to all her insults being considered compliments by Trump.

Businessman Donald Trump / Senator Scott Brown -- 371, 52.67%
Secretary Hillary Clinton / Senator Tim Kaine -- 167, 43.78%

DPKdebator-The worst you can do as Hillary Clinton in the campaign trail game
Here's the worst you can possibly do with Hillary:

By using all the worst possible answers, I was able to net Hillary 38.4% of the PV (vs 57.2% for Trump) and 7 electoral votes.

TheSaint1950-Last gallup poll in 1948 is right
1948 Presidential Election

Both Governor Thomas Dewey's and President Harry Truman's popular vote margins differed by 5% from the final Gallup poll.

Truman: 44% (poll) --> 49% (actual result)
Dewey: 50% (poll) --> 45% (actual result)

Below is a map of the 1948 election with a swing of 5% of the popular vote in every state.

Below is the famous political cartoon made before the election, which describes what the polls were saying at the time. The statements in the cartoon fit or come close to fitting this map.

That EV count for Hillary is literally the worst any major candidate has gotten. Worse than Landon in 1936.

Hubert Humphrey victory! based off of https://www.americanhistoryusa.com/campaign-trail/game/243943
genusmap.php

---- Hubert H. Humphrey/John Connally -- 440 -- 35,029,291 -- 47.86
---- Richard Nixon/Spiro Agnew -- 59 -- 29,316,604 -- 40.06
---- George Wallace/Curtis LeMay -- 39 -- 8,843,113 -- 12.08
Humphrey benefits from LBJ's Great Society legacy, supporting a truce in Vietnam (which brought out the Democratic vote), and winning over Wallace votes in the South with economic policies. Most of all, however, he benefits from the revelation that Richard Nixon sabotaged the Vietnam peace negotiations. This ruined Nixon's run, and set Nixon down in history first as a traitor, then on the list of people like Clay and William Jennings Bryan who have had multiple unsuccessful presidential campaigns. Nixon ultimately avoided charges, but retired from politics shortly afterwards at the urging of his wife. At least he says he's retired, but it's only a matter of time before Nixon re-reawakens....
