Self Indulgent Political Map: September
I do this thing where I do a quick jot down of what my politics are. I've been doing it for years, mostly when I'm bored in meetings. Recently, I've decided to map them. Because shut up. My first one was in July.

288399

Green: 53% (+26%) 433 seats (Spokespeople: Tamsin Omond & Amelia Womack)
Libertarian Socialist: 17% (-15%) 73 seats (Spokespeople: Russell Brand)
Liberal: 10% (+6%) 69 seats (Leaders: Kavya Kaushik & Dom Ellis)
Libertarian: 9% (-5%) 46 seats (Leaders: Tim Aker & Felix Bungay)
Socialist: 6% (-8%) 20 seats (Leader: Lisa Nandy)

Primitivist: 2% (+1%) 3 seats (Leader: A small lady who doesn't speak much but she does howl sometimes we don't know her name)
Pirate: 2% (-6%) 4 seats (Leaders: Loz Kaye)
New Age: 1% (+1%) 1 seat (Leader: Phil Hine & Halo)

The Black-Yellow-Teal coalition proved rather disunited. While they achieved some wins on de-Esperanto-fication and limiting government regulation, they were plagued with internal disputes. Particular low points were a fist fight in cabinet, and the Prime Minister picketing her Deputy Prime Minister Douglas Carswell's conference speech. The Greens were able to take back government with a ridiculous majority. They are planning to implement LVT, local currencies. and green social credit, along with local government reform.

The Liberals, who gained 63 seats, are the other big winner of the election, and are pushing for a greater constitutional role for third parties, as well as PR, which is a Green policy that strangely they aren't prioritising. Perhaps because they have just over half the votes and almost three quarters of the seats.

I love it.

Is she the leader the British people want? No.
Is she the politician Britain needs? Yes.
Is it legal for someone to sign the Electoral Commission papers with a bloody hand print and we aren't 100% sure where the blood came from? ...That's an internal party matter and I would ask you to respect her family's privacy at this time.

Here's my county map of my infobox series (my last post is here if you wanna look at it and give it a like):

Here is what I think the 2016 election may have been like if Nixon lost in 1968, though it probably isn't very likely.

genusmap.php

Donald J. Trump (NY) / Jeff Jackson (AR) - 46.81% (274)
Hillary Rodham (NY) / Bill Blythe (AR) - 47.24% (264)

Despite choosing Governor Blythe as her running mate, Senator Rodham managed to lose the state by 526 votes, which ultimately cost her the election.

It seems like quite the butterfly genocide happened ITTL.

To be fair, at least all of the candidates were born pre-POD.

That makes sense, I guess.

But what I don't get is why Hillary didn't marry Bill. IOTL, it was reluctant because after being part of the team of lawyers that helped expose Watergate, Hillary had a promising career in Washington. ITTL, without Watergate, I think she'd be more likely to marry Bill without that option.

Work on the American Parliament just keeps chugging along. Here are the current seat standings:

Liberal - 96 seats
Labor - 85 seats
Democratic - 17 seats
Grange - 16 seats
America First - 8 seats
TAC - 3 seats
Libertarian - 2 seats
AIP - 1 seat
WASP - 1 seat

Independent - 1 seat

And the states done, marked in red. I should mention that Texas has the same parties as the rest of the nation. I just couldn't make a Texas independence party (Texan Parliamentary Party, or TPP) work.
