Alternate Weapons of War thread...

500m? Pish posh, that's barely a heavy cruiser. :p
ah yes, but her keel was laid in 1920 in celebration of the CP victory over the Allies (stalemate actually) and her construction not complete until 1936, her primary armament taking well over a decade to develop, test, and install.

Maybe I should work on her successor... one day

The Brussels class orbital destroyer. The first dedicated, manned space combat craft termed a 'space warship' in the media.

So the bladed edge on your sword design is on the right hand side, not left side?

Also, those small ones look like khukri pen knives next to the big ones!

The AD-00N class of "mobile unmanned anti-satellite assault craft". An underside bay holds four nuclear missiles. A large block of five gimballed thrusters at the back allows it incredible forward thrust, with reaction-control for manoeuvrability. The Lunar Republican Orbital Guard deployed these craft in 2159 and manufactured an incrementally improved line of them through to the end of the Interplanetary War. The UNSF responded with dedicated manned "space warships" designed to combat these "torpedo boats", which escalated into an arms race. The craft use a mix of liquid coolant and retractable wing-like radiators to cool its high-performance reactor and thruster system. This, along with its use of liquid helium propellant mined from the Lunar surface, gave it unparalleled performance and logistical economy in the 2160s and 2170s as a weapon system.
A variant was designed with modified missiles that were meant to be used as orbital bombardment munitions, both nuclear and kinetic impactors. While much-speculated upon by UN analysts after its discovery in 2166 by UN espionage agents, it was not deployed by Lunar forces. However, Lunar allies during the Interplanetary War made potent use of such devices during the bombardment of Earth.

Manufacturer: McGrady Aerospace
Rollout: 2159
Service: 2160 to 2197
Length: 60 meters
Mass: 90 tons dry; 200 tons full
Materials: aluminium, carbon fibre
Powerplant: nuclear reactor, 14000 kw
Propulsion: 5x nuclear thermal rockets, 250000 kg forward thrust
Propellant: 80 tons liquid helium
Armament: four nuclear missiles; 1x underside hardpoint for added four-missile block.

The UN's response to later Lunarian escalation, the Constantine class combat/patrol spacecraft. Also thought of as the first "space cruiser" by later Terran military historians.

Can someone draw me a submarine that basically is a super-aircraft carrier + missile silo except they can go deep underwater? thanks :D

The aforementioned Lunar 'frigates', designed to be fast, manoeuvrable anti-warship craft. They vexed UN space forces for a long time, as its planners scrambled to engineer a spacecraft capable of taking them on overwhelmingly. The result was the afore-posted 'Constantine' cruisers.

A select-fire, Gas-Delayed Blowback service rifle for an Ostrogothic Empire in 1941.

Technically still a WIP (working on the bayonet, something vaguely Hungarian/FG42 bayonet inspired for general profile)

7.75x43mm for the cartridge specs.
