==== Meaning of the Chapter Title ====

Eimi, or more properly Eîmi, is εἶμι, Ancient Greek for 'I go'. Vartaiyaiy is Old Persian for 'I turn myself'. Both refer to the movement of Hellenes into their western colonies following the Achaemenid conquest, along with the wider changes that begin to take place as a result.
