Well, that isn't my headcanon per se but I have some idea about Poland in the world where both Heydrich (presenting my idea what rework could be because I have no actual idea what would be in rework) and Taboritsky win, around 1995 (the rest of the text would be trying to replicate the POV of a journalist from TTL)
A DRAGON BORN OUT OF LIZARD'S REMAINS
Poland was nation though to be lost in XXth century. That statement was especially true for conservative nationalists, rallied around Maciej Giertych. Liberal republic of Emil "Nil" Fieldorf fell to communist, internationalist government of Stanisław Radkiewicz, who executed Giertych. Radkiewicz than fell to invading forces of Fuhrer Reinhard Heydrich, who "purified" Poland using his usual methods.
But spirit of Poland was unbroken, and the spirit of NSZ was unbroken as well. Though one might say NSZ became even worse than the enemy they tried to stop.
But let's tell the whole story from the beginning. After success of 1964 uprising during the German Civil War, men of NSZ were optimistic about Poland's future. They believed Giertych would seize power and lead Poland to greatness.
9 April 1965, they hopes were crushed as after elections won by Stanisław Radkiewicz, Giertych was seized and killed by Polish Peoples's Republic court under accusation of being "counter-revolutionary" and "enemy of the people".
In 1966, Heydrich invaded Poland and reestablished General Gouvernment with Herbert Otto Gille, one of Heydrich's most trusted men in charge. Everything seemed to be lost.
The rest of NSZ resorted to terrorism, but on the day of 8th May 1971 their history would be altered. The parents of insignificant Polish boy, named Wojciech Olszański were killed and raped by some unknown SS-men with him being an immediate witness.
There was nothing specific about Olszański - there were many people like him in Poland during Heydrich's rule. However, he escaped the SS-men's gaze and at the age of 11 (nearing 12) joined up the partisants in forest, becoming one of the last members of "Lizard Union".
Who could possibly predict at that time that he'd be the one to facilitate it's return, ever greater it was before. His career in "Lizard Union" was rather grim, with many men being hunted and him rising with ranks not primarily because of his skill, but because his superiors dying at fast rate.
Anyways, at Heydrich's death day, when he was 16, he was one of the most prominent commanders around, known for his charisma and ferocity in fighting Germans. When Germany had splintered itself in various warlords, NSZ, being last major Polish resistance around seized power and Olszański, being the most charismatic of it's remaining top commanders soon became informal leader of it, and thus Poland. He also already went by his partisan nickname: "Aleksander Jabłonowski"
And so the career of one of the most prominent, but also vicious warlords in what was known as German sphere, began.
Olszański was so overwhelmed by hatred of Germans that he came up with theory why Giertych lost. Slavs were shown by Hitlerite propaganda to be brutal barbarians, not having any morality whatsoever, some kind of ruthless horde.
However, Giertych was not like that - he was strong follower of Catholic morality, unwilling to cross it even when it came to dealing with foreigners.
And that's when he was wrong according to Olszański. Olszański thought that ideal soldier of the fatherland is ready to forsake all morality when hunting the enemies of fatherland. He liked comparing his soldiers and Slavs in general to Slavic wolves, thinking Christianity made them weak by introducining it's morals, sectarian division and making Slavs forever subject to Germans.
His rule began with ripping Herbert Otto Gille's heart alive and making it filmed. On the film Olszański said that this fate awaits every German who dares to put his hand on Poland once again.
Than he ordered what according to him, Nil and Radkiewicz's rule lacked - nation-wide purge of almost every single remaining male Germans. Though it targeted mostly adults.
Olszański figured out that women, though he hated them as well, could be useful to his goals in another way. Poland was severely underpopulated, and to achieve Olszański's grandiose goals - namely to eradicate every single trace of German statehood, as he believed that if any organized state will arise in Germany it'd try to eradicate Poland's existence no matter what and so Poland would need to strive towards genociding as much Germans as possible to make them unable to strike again and to be able to retaliate on their enemies (Olszański counted Belarus, Ukraine, Slovakia and Lithuania among them for "betraying" Poland during 1939 campaign) and regain "rightful" Polish territory to create Greater Poland.
So he made German women essentially a breeding stock - they were kept in cattle-like conditions, eligible to being raped by every soldier of the army (in fact Olszański encouraged rape on German women and gave multitude of privileges to the ones who raped these women) and the children were given to Polish families to raise them as Poles.
German boys were kept alive - but only because Olszański figured out that he needs money to fund his projects and (despite being extremely prejudiced towards homosexuals and killing any of them on spot) wealthy pedophiles and sex offenders from all over the world would give it to him in exchange of boys being given to them to freely abuse them as they want.
Olszański's men also forced many German children to perform child pornography, which newly -formed "Second Polish State" sold abroad to not destroy it's economy completely by taxing Poles too hard, though the state was and still is extremely totalitarian, with Olszański's rule being absolute.
To curb German population, Olszański's Poland started to perform raids deep into German territory. The abysmal airforce of the new state served as a distraction, when mixed, tank and light cavalry units, usually carrying the Taborite (Olszański's Poland became largest trade partner of Larionov's HRE remnant) were destined to pillage the countryside and kill as many Germans as possible to reduce enemy's life force.
The captured Slavic slaves were set free - either free to completely escape and do their own thing or offered opportunity to join Olszański and his men, which many used to take revenge on their captors.
Soon, Olszański's/Jabłonowski's name began to seethe fear into German's hearts, as his men were ruthless. They proudly massacred many German villages, killing Germans in the most cruel way possible. Of course that was limited. Raiders rarely appeared west of Oder-Neisse line.
At the time, many slaves despite his cruel ways considered him to be liberating, "Robin Hood-like" figure, bringing justice to the ones who were denied it. When American television made interview with a slave who escaped Germany about why he supports what Olszański is doing he said: "I know he is a cruel, heartless bastard. But only man like that can make Germans fear and they need to fear as they believed that they can do whatever they want with us. He shows them that they are, were and always will be wrong. In a way, he is like mirror reverse of Hitler"
His fame was only biggert after events of 1987. Silesian Industriebund (German industrialists ruling Silesia), Posen Militarregierung (German militarists ruling Posen and area surrounding it), Prussische SS-Oberkommando (remnants of Heydrich's loyalists in denial about his death, much like Evtukovich's Ural Purification Zone in Russia is in denial about Taboritskys's men) and Republic of Slovakia teamed up to take down Olszański.
3-year war ended in 1990, with total Olszański's victory - all three states disappeared from the map, and Polish-majority territories of that states were directly annexed by Second Polish State, and the rest was put under military rule.
The raids enlarged their area, now ending only around Hamburg and reaching Bavaria without any trouble. Farther western warlord states have too much of an airforce for Olszański to be able to raid them and Austria is protected by Italians, with whom Olszański reached a deal.
The succesor of Duce Giani thinks that Olszański can be pit against Germans, and his actions serve furthering Italian dominance in Europe, thus he supplied Olszański with weapons and money and what's more - recognized his government as legitimate in exchange for him opening his country to Italian investments and military cooperation with Italy. In 1991 there was Ukrainian unification - Republic of Ukraine ruled by Yuryi Horlis succesors subjugated last vestiges of Brotherhood of Volyn, after defeating Melnykites, remnants of U-SSR, lingering German colonial administration, leaving only Gotenland to become hermit state ruled by Nazis, depended from help which is reluctantly given to them by Wittekind of Waldeck-Pyrmont who established far more benevolent version of his father Josias's kingdom of Caucasia despite initially being stranded in Katharinastadt and it's immediate surroundings.
In 1992, Autonomous Soviet Liberation Army led by Ryszard Kukliński finally defeated Kazakh Purification Army, announcing establishmend of "Autonomous Soviet Republic of Western Kazakhstan"
Olszański when given the information laughed at it, calling Kukliński a judeo-bolshevik traitor and maniacally laughed, while saying "WYRWĘ CI KU*WO SERCE" (in Polish: "I'LL RIP YOUR HEART YOU F*CKING W*HORE". And he announced he'll conquer his state.
Kukliński when confronted with the interview, saddened a bit and said that he doesn't have negative feeling for Olszański. Rather, he feels pity for him, stating that his facial expression and general modus vivendi is very similar to Safa Gaziz of all people.
From 1993 onwards, the tension between Republic of Ukraine and State of Greater Poland are rising, with Republic of Ukraine striving for plebiscite to be made in eastern Galizia and also being opposed to Olszański's regime on ideological grounds.
Olszański recognized at least Volhynia as rightful Polish land (though in his erratic ramblings, there was once an idea of establishing Poland's presence on Black Sea coast once again) and also despises Republic of Ukraine's ideology.
Despite all of this, both sides aren't ready to the war - and they know it. Both countries needs time to rebuild - Olszański needs to finish the integration of military districts into his country, though repopulation programme was moderately succesful and though Poles are now barely a majority in that state - he has enough colonists and once he'll finish his genocide, he'll be ready to conquer even more. Ukraine, on the other hand needs to rebuild it's economy for scratch and they're unwilling to use Olszański's rather unethical methods + they are almost isolated on international area, with isolationist, post-Hall, USA refusing to become involved in European politics. The eastern Germans warlords like, Reichsrekonstruktionauthoritat (Reich's Reconstruction Authority) based in Berlin under 80-year old Joachim Peiper - remnant of Third Reich's legitimate government or SS-Ordenstaat Bohmen of Mahren (SS Order-State of Bohemia and Moravia) - result of Heinlein's Sudetenland conquering Free Czech Republic) are too weak and reliant on slave labour to be able to put up the fight against Olszański and western German warlords like Deustches Reich based in Hamburg - headed by self-proclaimed Fuhrer Ulrich Wegener, who tries to continue Albert Speer reformist vision or liberal Deustche Republik based in Cologne - are simply too far away to put up the fight.
The war in Galizia is inevitable, but only God knows when it'll happen...
