TL 191 HOI4 Mod Update and Discussion Thread

Hexcron, I understand and accept your logic with the Socialist Party badge, but I’m not sure I can ever possibly forgive you! 😉

On a more serious note, if the Socialist Party were to go with a rose as Party badge one can only wonder what a logical Democratic Party plant/flower badge would make it’s most logical opposite number? (Perhaps an oak leaf, as a nod to the US Major/Lt. Colonel badge? Or a ‘Lone Pine’ though that may be a bit too New England - Hee hee, you can bet SOMEBODY suggested a four-lead clover, this being the early 20th century Dems).

Also, no lie, it amused me more than it should have to learn that the US national flower was the rose (Uncle Sam: “Mother England ain’t always wrong”); mental image of US with his hat & jacket off pruning his roses, sleeves rolled up.

Though I doubt it’s Earl Grey tea waiting to be drunk on the garden table …

A @Jedevari made sneak peek in the upcoming brazilian routes, I hope you all like the concepts!

What about the democratic paths? Who are the prime ministers?
The starting one is the conservative legend Gustavo Corcão. Assuming brazil remains a constitutional monarchy it goes as follow

Labour, Pedro Ernesto Baptista in 1936 and in Lindolfo Collor in 1942, he ain't dying so soon in this tl
Conservative has Gustavo Corcão, in 1942 the candidate is Arthur da Silva Bernardes
The liberals starts with Wenceslao Brás Pereira Gomez in 1936, and in 1942 the candidate is José Maria Whitaker
Dutra has the position of President and the vice president is a worthless position, so his head of government is the Chief Minister of the Casa Civil, Góes Monteiro

I'm not going to lie, I'm tempted to pick Santos purely because the man looks like he's out there fighting vampires every night!
You mean Siqueira Campos? He was pretty "based" in some ways, he fought tooth and nail against every single oligarchic government in the 1920s, and yeah he seems like a vampire hunter

Actually I meant Arlindo Veiga Santos (it's the Crucifix and that hat), but one can easily imagine Siquiera Campos' hammer making them a formidable "odd couple" team of Occult Exterminators!

Here is it, he was nicknamed "The dark knight" by monarchists, and yeah, it would be a nice anti vampire duo!

A century and more of Russian history summed up in a single sentence; it sometimes seems the history of that nation is the eternal dance of one step forward, two steps back!

By the way, Hexcron, I really do love your preview - especially the strong suggestion that Charles XI is a slippery, slippery villain!
