British Intelligence was aware that US freighters had off loaded goods bound for China at Haiphong in( a port in Vietnam with rail connections to China) British Intelligence believed that the Americans were selling Gas Mask of two different types- 1: for Civilian Population and 2) a Military grade Gas Mask for Military, police and fire services. The US was also selling radar equipment which would have a range of 25 to 50 miles. There was also speculation that the US had allowed the export of 20mm and 40mm AA guns and Ammo for them.
British and Hawaiian Intelligence were confirming that a large battle had taken place in western Manchuria. Reports had indicated that it had started as an engagement between forces of the border guards of the Manchucko Defense force and Mongolian raiders. It had increased in size as the Commander of the nearest Imperial Army Division had deployed a Regiment of Mechanized Infantry supported by a Battery of artillery. They drove the raiders back across the border and this triggered a response by Russian Forces. The Russians moved up a tank Brigade supported by a Motorized Rifle Brigade and a battalion of Artillery. The Mongolians deployed a cavalry regiment, battery of artillery, battalion of Motorized Infantry and a company of T-54 tanks..

This included a Battalion of the new T-74 tanks and a lot more artillery. Corp and Army Command was notified. The Imerial Air Force deployed 2 squadrons of its F-1 ground support fighters to support the army. Meanwhile the Army moved its 1st Armored division and the 6 Mechanized division toward the region.
Hawaii's new Satellite was providing pictures of the conflict to Honolulu and a coded transmission was sent to the RAF in India.

The Russians responded by moving more forces to the region and deploying Jet fighters and ground attack aircraft into the struggle. British Intelligence was struggling to get more information but it was difficult to do in an area that was deeply under the control of the Empire of the Rising Sun.
Vietnam's Crown Prince Bao Long born in 1936 had lived in France since 1947. As an adult he served in the French Foreign Legion and was decorated by the French government for service in combat in North Africa and other places. He finally returned to Vietnam and served as a officer in the Vietnamese Army, He was a promoter of the Vietnamese Army taking on a greater role for the defense of the country.

Apollo IV crew had been picked and Commander Frank Wallace of the Royal Hawaiian Navy would command the Flight. Major Gerald Fitsimmons Royal Air Force and Major Hans Kruger of the German Luftwaffe would be the other two crew members. The ship would fly to the Moon and back taking pictures from space. Another Mission was scheduled for the Spring of 1978. It would again not land but photograph the landing site and check to see that the supply payloads had landed in the proper area on the Moon.
As part of the agreement establishing relations between the Republic of China and the British Empire the question of the Royal Crown Colony of Hong Kong was addressed. The Original agreement between Great Britain and the Empire of China in some mind had the lease going until 1997 but there was another possibility that it in fact was in without time limit. The Republic of China decided to extend the lease until 2100 and hold talks about whether there could be an agreement o the British position.

The Chinese Army was evolving but one could still see a lot of Russian made equipment, Neither China nor the Empire of the Rising Sun had an Embassy in the others country. Both had consulates in the British Royal Crown Colony of Hong Kong. There was a meeting once a month between the diplomats and Military representatives of both countries with Britain acting as the Host and Mediator. Sometimes if the British Representative was not available the Hawaiian senior diplomat would take over the role.
MI-6 received copies of the documents and Videotapes that Russian Intelligence had provided to the Hawaiians. In addition the Empire of the Rising Sun upon hearing of these acts of terror had provided information that they had gathered in response to several attacks in China, Manchuria and Kore. These attacks had sutured the interest of both Austrian and German Intelligence. The Austrians had captured to suspects and the information gathered seemed to confirm the theory put forth by the Russians.
