In 1806? They're going to be pretty damn loyal.

but there's no real reason to bother holding them, ouside of teh Scottish SE anyway. Control over these relatively poor,unpopulated areas would npot provide british forces with a threatening demographic and economic base or endanger Napoleon's hold on teh parts of teh country that really matter.

Anyway, geurilla campaigns can harass an occupying army, they can rarely destroy it and certainly not in the timeframe we're discussing here.
