ENGLISH EXIT ROCKS MITTELEUROPA*
JUN 28, 2016- What began as a show of loyalty to Berlin has rocked the world, as the assumed farcical vote on whether or not the Republic of England would remain in Mitteleuropa met with a close, but stunning Leave result. President David Cameron has yet to issue a statement nearly a day after the results, while much of the cabinet, including key Ministers such as Ed Miliband and Nick Clegg have already resigned. Berlin, too, has yet to make more of a statement beyond saying that "[T]he situation in England will be handled carefully and diplomatically..." The economic reaction has been swift, with the Europa's value tumbling, with some commentators drawing comparisons to the end of the Afrika Wars or even Black Monday. USNRA President Justin Trudeau stated, in an uncharacteristic calm, that "[the English exit] shows that German imperialism is built upon a house of cards, even in their home continent. We can only hope that the Reich can recognize this without resorting to violence." This, we can agree on. More to come as the situation continues. Algiers, Union de l'Afrique Française.
