Delhi does. I could've sworn the PF does, but now I can't even find the counter-part event to Delhi's unification...
EDIT: To be clear, I thought there was more than one way for the PF to become the Indian Empire, one being unification (the other one, and the way that is there, is risking the Princely Federation's collapse before unification). I was evidently mistaken.

I'm wondering because I unified India as Delhi but didn't get the event yet, although some of the event chains have been showing up a bit later.

The event is called A New India Arises, and is designed to happen once you've finished the core-granting integration chains. The idea, I think, is that it marks that you are recognized as the legitimate India throughout all India (so having control is not enough).

What LordInsane said. Once you've cored, the Bengal and the Southern provinces you get an event changing the name and waking some tech teams.

It, uhm, doesn't wake any tech-teams in the 1.6 I downloaded.

Quite understandable, especially since a lot of the unification-related events you made do wake tech-teams (either in the course of getting cores, or in one case upgrading a tech-team after unification).

First time ever playing as National France.

Intervened in the Spanish Civil War, conquered all of Iberia, and then released Caralist Spain as a puppet.

When WWII came about I rushed in as far north and as far fast as I could go, and this was the result.

Afterwards I had to fight the Italian Federation, which had gone Radical Socialists AFTER defeating the Totalists in Naples, which was good enough for me.

Now I'm just building up lots of IC and consolidating in the South before the inevitable war with the Germans.
