Then there's a new series, The Fighting Tomcats, by Megan and Sofia Maki (as "M. L. Maki"), which might be described as "The Final Countdown done right."

The first book is Fighting Her Father's War.

The timeline has advanced to the liberation of the Philippines (October 20, 1944 OTL, February 7, 1944 ATL). The world as a whole knows of the uptimers (origin date was in 1990, so they are called nineties). There is a main series, with a few side books...about ten or twelve total (I read them on my Kindle Unlimited and return them when I am done).
Has anyone else read these?
