Effects of a "Realistic" Secret Nazi attack & Ninth Crusade on London? (Hellsing)

So, if anyone is familiar with Hellsing, Hellsing Ultimate, or just Hellsing Abridged, in the series, a secret Nazi paramilitary organization of artificial vampires that hiding out in Brazil, called Millenium Organization, goes off to attack London, and kill countless of people. Meanwhile, the Vatican Church organizes the Ninth Crusade, where it is promptly taken over by a fanatical priest who goes off and attack and destroy everyone, soldiers and civilians alike, in an effort to kill all protestants in England and force a massive Catholic conversion over the nation. Eventually, they're both annihilated by Alucard (AKA Dracula) who goes off for a walk.

So, let's play a very dark and insane scenario for fun...

Let's say in the 1990s, there was a secret Nazi Organization that was hiding in Brazil and found a way to sustain itself for decades (Whether it because of Artificial Vampires, cloning, or none of that, let's just play along), and goes off to do Operation Sea Lion 2 and attacks London. Then the Vatican Church organizes the Ninth Crusade to help, only for the Crusaders to start attack everyone in London, in a way to turn England Catholic again. (Also, altering events of Hellsing for this to happen, such as removing Alucard.)

So, realistically, what would've happened, if this had all occurred (Without Alucard)? How would the world react to this development? Would the British Military respond?

I am more concerned as to how the Vatican would PR spin this. They certainly care alot about PR.
