I was watching a documentary about the rise of Eastern Coyotes the other day, and it got me wondering about the threads here that discussing domesticating OTL wild animals. So what if at some point Pre Columbian tribes could have domesticated Coyotes in a manner similar to the wolf in Eurasia.

What do you guys think is the earliest that evolution could have been discovered, or at least hypothesized? I would assume a working theory of evolution would have to include the following observations/conclusions, but please correct me if I'm wrong: - that diverse organisms are related in some...

As the title says, how far back in time can people be able to describe and apply to our favor Darwin's theory or at least some form of it maintaining its main parts?
