  1. Gunship Ospreys

Would pilots of supporting gunship ospreys be considered "Aces" for shooting down enemy drones and/or copters. These would be airborne kills. Or would they be told , they aren't jets, watch over the ground troops. Leaving personnel pride at hitting small and fast moving targets.
  2. An Army of Snipers?

WI: A Country outfitted its infantry with modern .50 Cal. scoped rifles. Training was keep your distance and kill at long range. How are the soldiers affected? They can not lie to themselves that they did not kill. Are their enemies less likely to attack due to their projected losses?
  3. AHC: Small warship US Navy

The task is to have the US Navy maintain small warship squadrons. The Navy will use in wartime, then drops them. A recent example is the Seafighter, a brown-water design that remains unarmed despite Congress setting aside money to arm and test the ship. How can this hate-on be stopped?
  4. Sin is not so bad.

WI: There was no Prohibition? The gangs do not get rich. People have a greater belief in their personal rights. What flows from this?
  5. German "Warthog"

WI: The German Air Force had a "Warthog" in the hundreds, for the start of the Russian op.. A prop version, 20 instead of 30mm. Would they kill enough tanks, quick enough, to make a difference?
  6. A Really rich Canada?

  7. Artemis' Hounds

Please excuse me, my first try at this has not shown up. I have started research on a TL. POD is January 22, 1977. The 28th amendment(ERA) is enacted. Jimmy Carter had been sworn in the day before. Google has given me sites on people, ERA, military and general history. I will put my spin here...
  8. Lady Grey's Light Horse

Mother England demanded money to help pay its Boer war expenses. Its Commonwealth colonies did send and troops. In Canada, its Prime Minister at 1 meeting, talked about British high-handedness at its demands. Considered send-ing the all-female L.G.L.H as Canada's contribution. Think about that...
  9. HSF Air

I am new here. I would like to pose an AU. Just before WW1, the Kaiser has 1-2 ships converted to aircraft carriers. Small number, little training but flying with bombs. The Brits set sail, just as they did(OTL), with too much cordite on board. They feared not having enough against the Germans...
  10. German Naval Air

I am a newbie here. My question is this. The Brits filled their ships with way too much cordite before facing the Germans in WW1. HSF in this timeline has a small air fleet( 2 small carriers conversions). Dreadnoughts start sinking from bomb caused cordite fires in their mag.. A swift end to the...
