GURPS Infinite Worlds Covers

I'm a little astonished that Herr Hitler didn't make Communist Italy a Primary Target during the Second World War; that being said one has to admit that this mental image of a planet where the most prominent Communist Power is ITALY has to be one of the more unique mental images in a GURPS resource!

Hitlers prime target was always Lebensraum in the East. As long Red Italy is no threat to his plans in the East, he would ignor it.

It seems hard to imagine that the Germans would leave a hostile Italy at their rear while they charge into Russia, especially if Mussolini has already done a deal with Stalin - qualitative superiority over Il Duce's blackshirts doesn't really help if all his men are HERE and the majority of your men are fighting for their lives .......... all the way over HERE!;)

But Mussolini in the blurb didn't make a deal with Stalin. In fact he's anti-Moscow there so he wouldn't have a problem with Hitler attacking the Soviet Union first.

Also rereading GURPS Infinite Worlds, cars in Lenin-3 run on fuel cells, if the blurb about Homeline cars at the beginning of the book using fuel cells copied from Lenin-3 models is correct.

Still working on this.

Hmm. POD prior to OTL Mexican American War, and no independent Texas, *but* after the Adams-Onis treaty in 1810 setting the US-New Spain border. The 1830/1840 states admitted have their OTL boundaries including the 1836 addition of the Platte Purchase to Missouri, so with a POD that late, Mexico is definitely independent the POD is likely a failure of the Texas war of Independence. British Honduras is Mexican, which means that both the UK and Guatemala are weakened, which probably makes the Central American state a Mexican puppet or close to it. Given that that color is also present for the entire island of Hispanola, indicating a conquered Haiti as well as significant chunks of South American, we are *definitely* looking at a Mexico-wank. I just can't find any infinite worlds with a very strong Mexico and a USA that still goes all the way to the Pacific.

That's his interpretation of Dixie-1, where the Confederacy has control of almost all of OTL Mexico. I am portraying Dixie-4 as a Mexico-wank, as a major power that has managed to force the US and CS to set aside their differences and work together. It's also a Germany-wank.
No kidding. Any TL where both Britain and France have lost their "Guiana" possessions to middling powers (which is what Brazil appears to be given that Uruguay is larger than OTL and opposed to Brazil) has to be a Germany-wank. The only question that I have about Britain is does London have control over the entire island of Britain or not. Paris certainly doesn't have control over anything close to all of OTL France.

Are there any plans to map out Centrum eventually?
It's pretty much a monoculture that conquered the entire world. It's previous culture was an Anglo-French empire that controlled the entire world and had been unified since the Hundred Years War when William the Aethling didn't drown. That culture got destroyed in an apocalyptic war called the Last War, with a technocratic movement called "Centrum" surviving in TTL's Australia and rebuilding the world. And said technocratic group would've been heavily influenced by the Anglo-French monoculture previous to it.
