The Romans waged war to gather slaves and wealth.

Spain built an empire from its lust for gold and territory.

Hitler shaped a battered Germany into an economic superpower.

But war never changes.
In the 21st century, war was still waged over the resources that could be acquired. Only this time, the spoils of war were also its weapons: Petroleum and Uranium.

For these resources, China would invade Alaska, the US would annex Canada, and the European Commonwealth would dissolve into quarreling, bickering nation-states, bent on controlling the last remaining resources on Earth.
[Clock moves from 11:59 to midnight]
In 2077, the storm of world war had come again. In two brief hours, most of the planet was reduced to cinders.

And from the ashes of nuclear devastation, a new civilization would struggle to arise.

A small golden beetle crawls out of the crater left by the rock. The camera follows it as it scurries under barbed wire to a trench, where it bites a Tommy. He screams and then flattens it with a shovel, sending purple everywhere.
Tommy 1: What the bloody 'ell was that?
Tommy 2: I'm not so sure, though I'm not feeling so good...
*screech*
Cut to image of a strange human-bug hybrid leaping 20 feet, landing on a soldier in grey and starting to eat him

Three soldiers creep through the snow in heavy clothing, rifles at the ready. Camera zooms to front man, who jumps as a branch falls to ground in front of him. He screams and fires of a shot.
Soldier 1: Wow! That scared the shit out of me! You guys ok?
Soldier turns around to find blood all over snow and a human-bug hybrid staring him in the face, a crooked creepy smile in its face, blood and bits of flesh and cloth still on its face/teeth.
*screech again, screaming*

The screen shows an explosion that rips open the doors of the conference room in the Wolf's Lair and hurls it down the corridor. Jump back to dark screen

Radio V.O:

An all-male chorale voice over begins to sing the first verse and the chorus of Die Wacht am Rhein. As the choir sings, brief scenes from the movie begin to show until the choir reaches the last line of the chorus.

A squadron of Me 262s cut through and apart a horde of B-17 bombers. An UNNAMED CONSPIRATOR who tries to kill HEINRICH HIMMLER gets taken down by SS-Colonel HORST BUECHER. A Panther tank with landsers riding shotgun retreat towards the Rhine. Intense urban combat in the city of Dinant between the men of the 6th Panzerarmee and the US 13th Armoured Division. ERWIN ROMMEL inspects troops on the Western Wall with his driver, 'MUTTI', and Chief of Staff HANS SPIEDEL.

Just before the chorus repeats the last line of the chorus, the screen cuts to th title card which reads 'FOX ON THE RHINE'

I wish to speak to you today about the tragedy of Europe.

This noble continent, is the origin of most of the culture, arts, philosophy and science both of ancient and modem times.

[Show an image of troops training at a range, before fading out again]

If Europe were once united in the sharing of its common inheritance, there would be no limit to the happiness, to the prosperity and glory which its people would enjoy.

[Same image of the range, yet we pan away from the training to see a flag of the European Union]

A vast quivering mass of tormented, hungry, care-worn and bewildered human beings gape at the ruins of their cities and homes, and scan the dark horizons for the approach of some new peril, tyranny or terror.


[We see a room filled with many foreign diplomats, they are all yelling at each other.]

Among the victors there is a babel of jarring voices; among the vanquished the sullen silence of despair.


[We see a group of post-modern American soldiers moving down a street in Copenhagen]

The fact that the great Republic across the Atlantic Ocean has at length realised that the ruin or enslavement of Europe would involve their own fate as well, and has stretched out hands of succour and guidance, the Dark Ages would have returned in all their cruelty and squalor.


[We see a Russian talking into a phone, before it fades out again.]

They may still return.

[We see a street battle between JSF and EFEC forces in Cophenhagen.]

We must build a kind of United States of Europe.

[The Freedom Star is shown being destroyed after lift off.]

All that is needed is the resolve of hundreds of millions of men and women to do right instead of wrong, and gain as their reward, blessing instead of cursing.

(An animated, coloured worldmap labelled '1942' shows Africa and the Middle East as a solid block of orange. Arrows lance out from the swastika-marked German Reich into Russia, then additional arrows move out from the orange block to encircle the Axis forces.)

(Draka paratroopers descend from the sky into Georgia.)

(Draka citizen-soldiers fight SS troopers with horrifying efficiency in the ruins of a village)

All very good, but one quibble:
...

(A Moscow covered in snow is seen for a brief moment, the Kremlin is shown the closest. Then a nuclear explosion rips through the southern half of the city, destroy almost everything in sight, the snow evapourates. A mushroom cloud is seen looming over the Kremlin.)

a) It wasn't in Moscow, it was out to the south-southwest, in Kaluga. About 100 miles away.
b) it was 'only' an early, Little Boy-sized bomb - probably 20kt at most. So a tac nuke.

That is awesome:) but I would have nightmares for months after watching that.:eek::eek::eek::eek: And I think my mum would ban the DVD from the house she hates that I liked and bought District 9 which was tame compared with that. I would still sneek the DVD of that in the house though.
 
BTW, I'd also love to do some trailers for other AH movies, such as K IS FOR KILLING or LIGHT AS A FEATHER, but I'm disadvantaged by the fact that I don't hace these books immediately avail in front of me...

INT. PADDED CELL

A man in a straitjacket sits and stares vacantly at nothing. Softly, he sings.

MAN: (singing) It's a world of laughter. . .

(Young Mouseketeers, smiling and laughing, line up outside a church, taking picket signs)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd) . . .a world of tears. . .

(A white mob descends on Ernest Green, he opens his mouth in a silent scream right as the camera mercifully cuts away)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd). . .it's a world of hopes. . .

(Orson Welles swigs from a bottle of Paul Masson and shakes hands with Elvis Presley, the Eiffel Tower in the background)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd). . .it's a world of fears. . .

(Armed, weary-looking soldiers take down an Israeli flag and run up a red and yellow Communist version)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd). . .there's so much that we share. . .

(A black man grimly watches as policemen hold a crowd at bay with submachine guns, guarding the workmen putting up a concrete wall in the middle of a street)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd). . .that it's time we're aware. . .

(George Lincoln Rockwell walks into the Capitol, puffing his pipe, a copy of Mein Kampf tucked inconspicuously under his arm)

MAN: (voiceover, cont'd). . .it's a small word after all.

(US Marines corner a man on a war-torn Cuban street. He is dirty and injured, but his beard and hard stare makes him instantly recognizable as Fidel Castro)

MC: (voiceover) Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the President of the United States. . .

SMASH CUT TO CROWDED EVENT

(Disney walks out on stage, flanked by Cohn and Dodd)

TITLE: A WORLD OF LAUGHTER, A WORLD OF TEARS

(At a downtown police station, a young nervous black man edges closer to the desk sergeant. When a cop looks up at him, he flings open his coat, revealing a dynamite vest)

SUICIDE BOMBER: Allahu akbar!

[Black Screen. Marching jackboots heard]

[Scene shows a single man at a desk smoking a cigar, he is hidden by the shadows]

Hidden Man (deep, gruff): A single decision can change the world.

[Screen changes to a various WWI clips, then to a scene that shows Imperial German Troops marching through Paris and the Imperial German Flag being hoisted over the Eiffel Tower. A crude version of the Imperial German Anthem is heard]

Hidden Man: Some changes we can predict.

[Franz Joseph I of Austria looks out across Vienna the city is burning.]

Hidden Man: Some come as a complete shock.

[Cut to the Oval Office. General Douglas MacArthur points a pistol at a surprised President FDR.]

MacArthur: Sorry Sir. [MacArthur fires a single shot, a close up shot of a pair of bloodstain glasses falling to the ground.]

Hidden Man: But, one thing is constant in any scenario.

[A map of Western Europe showing 1914 like borders with a few changes.]

Hidden Man: Revenge.

[The Man zooms in on Paris. British and American bombers and fighters fly over, the Eiffel Tower, flying a French flag, is toppled in the carpet bombing. British and American tanks smashing through the city's fanatic defences.]

Hidden Man: For this a war.

[Montage Sequence.]
[Japanese and Imperial Russian forces engaging Chinese, British and American forces in Beijing.]
[Charles De Gaulle being escorted by Adolf Hitler in an Imperial German sergeant's uniform to a waiting plane.]
[Italian ships firing on a Red Flagged Athens.]
[German jet aircraft, and Russian propeller aircraft over London fighting the RAF.]

[Scene cuts back to the Hidden Man who leans forward into the light. The face of Winston Churchill is revealed.]

Churchill: My War.

[Smash to titles]

Title: Churchill's War

[Smash to New York, the city appears normal, though a single speck is shown above. Then the city disappears in a bright flash and behind the Staute of Liberty a mushroom cloud is shown.]

[Smash to Black]

Title: Revenge is coming.
