I'm hoping you might make a CSA- themed map, maybe something along the lines of the CSA trying to create the "tropical empire" that early Confederate leaders dreamed of, and it being successful for a time, but collapsing under its own weight sometime in the early 20th century, perhaps leading to a reabsorption by the US?There will a big Germany in my next map, I promise...

Well, while I'm here, I might as well post my AHN Universe world map for 1920. It didn't take is long as my 1900 map, but only because I did some cut and paste in the far north and SE Asia, with all those little islands that needed coloring.
I'm hoping you might make a CSA- themed map, maybe something along the lines of the CSA trying to create the "tropical empire" that early Confederate leaders dreamed of, and it being successful for a time, but collapsing under its own weight sometime in the early 20th century, perhaps leading to a reabsorption by the US?
I'm toying with that idea my own self, but feel free to work with it if you so chose.
In other words, "do my work for me?"
Trouble is I find even a temporary empire in Latin America rather doubtful: if they go a conquerin', if the US doesn't bitch-slap them, the British will.
To get around that, you either need to seriously distract the US and UK (and the UK needs more distracting: what with the "Rules the Waves" thing, it can screw over Confederate designs on Central America without much effort), or get one of them to ally with the Confederacy, which isn't easy either.
Hmm. US leadership reads too many alternate history novels, tries to conquer Canada. Fails, but still gets a big chunk of west Canada in the peace treaty. Angry UK allies with CSA in a spirit of "the enemy of my enemy is my friend, even if they are stinky." So the US is forced to practice restraint while the CSA goes filibustering, lest it be double-teamed. Too unlikely?

A map of the Middle-East in 2070 from the same FHTL as the one of North America.
I have'nt decided on a name for the Central Asian thing, but the placeholder name is ITTL a common unofficial name for it.
Summary;
Following the world economic meltdown following the collapse of the American economy the Middle-East became a microcosm of the world,
with some countries only somewhat affected and others disastrously so.
The Pakistani government, still weak eventually lost control of the Northern half of the country, barely holding the Southern half together
(though they did have firm control of the South-West), eventually the Pakistani government was forced to ask the UN for help.
India, citing attacks on its territory from rebel groups in Kashmir occupied part of Pakistani Kashmir.
As part of a secret deal between the Pakistani government and the UN the Pakistani nuclear arsenal was dismantled piece-meal.
Following the end of the 'Northern Rebellions' and with the Pakistani government now in full control India and Pakistan signed a treaty
establishing their borders in the region, resulting in India retaining the part it had occupied. This would mark the beginning of the end
of the mutual animosity the two countries had felt towards each other for so long.
A hardline Sunni-Arab government is elected in Iraq.
The new government sought to remove several areas of Kurd autonomy and was not the friend of Shia's.
The Central government demanded that the military be allowed in Kurdistan and that all oil contracts be controlled by the Central government,
the Kurds vehemently rejected this.
The Iraqi military is repulsed by the Peshmerga following an attempt to 'Take control of the Kurds', this marked the beginning of the Iraqi Civil War.
The large Shia minority, who was now suffering greatly under the control of the Central government soon joined in the war.
Faced now between insurgents, guerrillas tactics and a portion of the military having defected in the South and an essentially superior military
in the North and no one to help them the Central government eventually fell.
The Iraqi Kurdistan Autonomous region, now slightly larger from the war declares itself independent. This is recognized immediately by France,
the United Kingdom and the United States.
With the collapse of oil as a valuable commodity following massive declines in demand, both from the economic meltdown and a renewed push
and adoption of alternate energy sources the Saudi Arabian economy collapses, this leads to the beginning of a Civil War between the people
and parts of the military and the ruling elite and the rest of the military.
While the UN does intervene it refuses to take a side and simply offers humanitarian aide.
With essentially no funds and a limited military capacity the 'Royalist' regime is defeated within a year and the Islamic Republic of Arabia
is established.
Following a riot by settlers in Palestine that left dozens of Palestinians dead (more than half women and children) and an entire town destroyed
the world demands the Palestinian situation be solved immediately.
While the Israeli government is more than reluctant to do so, with no allies and the EU privately informing Israel that their will be severe consequences
if it does'nt, Israel grudgingly comes to the negotiating table.
After a year of EU-lead negotiations a permanent solution is agreed on.
The Gaza Strip is to be returned to Israel, as their was no realistic way it could remain as part of Palestine while the West Bank was enlarged to
make up for the loss. All Israeli settlers who do not wish to become Palestinian citizens are forcefully removed.
Israel and Palestine recognize each other as full, sovereign states.
This marks the beginning of long-term international peace in the Middle-East.
The Iranian government is deposed in 2029 following a revolution that saw support from the military and secret support from the EU, Kurdistan and
a few Gulf states.
Syria suffers internal unrest, though not as bad as many countries suffer(ed) from, this marks the beginning of Democratization in Syria.
Following further ties between Turkey and Armenia and more recognition of the Kurdish minority Turkey suffers a military coup d'etat.
While the coup has popular support at first it quickly lost it as the junta dishonored its promises of elections and began a violent crackdown on
Kurds and anyone who was perceived to be anti-Turkish.
The regime, blinded by ideology and glorification of the past failed to notice that its own power-base was turning against it.
Following a stand-off between pro-democracy protesters and the military, resulting in several protesters deaths a civil war erupts in Turkey
between the military Junta and the people.
The Turkish government in exile requests EU help/intervention, a request that the EU accepts.
Following the defeat of the junta a new constitution is established, one which greatly limited the power of the military and removed many of
the articles that had previously kept Turkey from being able to move forward with EU membership.
Turkey is finally admitted as an EU member on condition it hold referendums in some Kurdish dominant areas on whether they want to remain
part of Turkey or join Kurdistan.
Six of the South-Western most provinces vote to join Kurdistan while the other nine vote to remain part of Turkey.
The 'Summer Revolution' occurs in Syria, a mostly non-violent revolution resulting in the lifting of martial law and the beginning of full democracy.
The Kurd dominant region of Eastern-most Syria is allowed to Join Kurdistan after a referendum their results in a 'Yes'.
While not universally popular in the rest of Syria the government had come to the realization that the small area was, simply put, more effort
than it was worth.

What Susano said isn't entirely true, anyhow- it haven't even been a full month since you posted a map where Germany wasn't just united (well, lacking Austria, but it did that in OTL, so...), but doing better than OTL.There will a big Germany in my next map, I promise...

Ah! But even so B_Munro still fulfills the Double Cliche - in any PoD before the 1860s, Germany and Italy will remain disunited. All his maps with a strong or superstrong Germany have PoDs after that date, I think
I must say, I was a bit surprised to see his Habsburg-Ottoman CoDominium map lack a united Germany, given that the Habsburgs, if more-or-less freed from the Ottoman distraction, would seem to have an interest in focusing on (and focusing on centralising) the HRE and the Kingdom of Germany.Ah!
