Lake Michigan in September
If a craft landed out of sight of any of the coasts on Lake Michigan in September how likely is it to encounter either a commercial craft or any kind of leisure users of the great Lake?

If you can access JSTOR this article might be useful to your enquiry http://www.chicagotribune.com/travel...8.storygallery The above page has links to articles on regular ferry crossings across Lake Michigan, so you should be able to deduce routes and whether they would come into sight. Guess it depends on frequency of the ferries, and how you define where "out of sight" is - ie if it is NOT on a ferry route, even eg http://www.lake-express.com/schedule/index.aspx for a timetable May-November http://www.illinoispaddling.org/safety2.html Not massively relevant, but gives some idea of the non-commercial boats that MIGHT be out there somewhere Best Regards Grey Wolf |

http://www.jsonline.com/story/index.aspx?id=141609 which has its own website at http://www.ssbadger.com/newhome.aspx with its schedule http://www.ssbadger.com/content.aspx?Page=Schedule Of course, if you're spaceship is North or South of the central bit Best Regards Grey Wolf |
