Help: I need the title and/or author of this book
Hello there. I hope someone can help me identify an alternative history book that I read some years ago.
It was an alternative world war two history. Some assumptions were made, that I think the germans took Moscow in 1941, the Japanese won the battle of midway. In the book the war lasted longer but still came down to an allied victory in the end. German tanks became bogged down in the mountains of Persia, Rommels Afrika Corps clashed with US marines in Palestine, the Japanese fleet was beaten somewhere. I can't remember any more. Does this description prompt anyones memory? |

sounds like Downing's "The Moscow Option", one of the classics of AH, written long before AH became as popular (?) as it is now....

Your description does sound like the Moscow Option. The Japanese were defeated in a battle off Panama, if it helps to jar your memory.
